Sigh. It's been verified as reliable by the UN. I agree they're useless at many things but I trust them to verify death counts and it doesn't take a genius to work it out. Rather pathetic your post got another like as well. Take a look at what these Israeli animals have done and try not to lie to yourself. Those figures are greatly underestimated. Imagine how many bodies are under that rubble. Just look at the state of Gaza ffs. The irony that you got the psycho killer groups mixed up btw. The psycho killers are the so called "good guys" with US blood on their hands thanks to them supplying all the weapons.

Brother, you really need to sit down and remember what your hatred of the Jews and the Jewish nation means. It tells you something about yourself. Your descriptions of them say a lot about you. When you dislike somebody or some nation, it’s not normal to reach for such low terms in describing them. Although I am relieved when Israel dispatch another evil man that brings them closer to safety from the terrible and terrifying Islamist groups that surround them, I try to temper my feelings so as to be more objective and clear in what I’m trying to say.

What you’re “trying to say” is coming across very clearly, unfortunately, and it’s not very original, or interesting.

Personally I think we’ve exhausted this conversation and moxie is right, the American election is coming soon and this isn’t the place to be bumping the furniture on the ME. We disagree, completely. That’s fine, we very rarely agreed on much anyway…

He has said he will be, "If only for a day." That's bad enough for me. Plus, he loves all of the strongman dictators out there, which you seem to have no problem with, like Putin, Orban and Kim Jong-Un, abhorred, rightfully, by much of the world.

Do you ignore his clear inability to complete a sentence? All of his recent malapropisms and mis-naming of people, which is something you posted a LOT about when it was Biden? Just asking if there is a double-standard here.

She speaks very well extemporaneously, unlike Trump. It was not a 3 against 1 debate, unless you finally just want Trump to get Fox and fed the questions. He had 5 full minutes longer to speak than she did in that debate, and he used it to hang himself. Why was he more fact-checked in it? Because he lies all the time! If you can't see that, that's on you. It's NOT BS...it's an effort to keep him on track.

So don't give the convicted felon with no personal governor the codes, would be my suggestion.

Pot smoking alcoholic? Where do you get that from? Seriously. You are like Trump with the unfounded personal attacks. I called Trump a convicted felon above, but he actually is one.

Fine if you think so, but arguments are parsed out in threads here. You are ruining a perfectly good conversation about the upcoming election with your endless diatribe about the Middle east and Ukraine. You don't make them about the elections, or US Politics. It is helpful to distinguish arguments and conversations. I'm sure you can understand that.

I'm sorry you think my country is fucked up, but I'd be perfectly happy if you'd stay away from discussing our politics, then, especially if you're advocating for us installing a fascist, which you are. You clearly don't understand what would be best for us. I also don't think you understand what would be best for you. Like a strong NATO.
You clearly have no idea what a fascist or dictator are. It's embarrassing.

BS/lie number 1. Trump is NOT a dictator.

"a leader who has complete power in a country and has not been elected by the people"

"A dictator is a ruler who has complete power in a country, especially power which was obtained by force and is used unfairly or cruelly."

Trump was ELECTED so he can't be a dictator. The irony is your cackling Indian opposition WAS NOT elected and is supposedly a democrat. They pushed Biden out (also not democratic) and just appointed her with no election. What's wrong with this picture?

BS/lie number 2. Trump is NOT a fascist so I'm not advocating for the US to install a fascist.

"Fascism (/ˈfæʃɪzəm/ FASH-iz-əm) is a far-right, authoritarian, ultranationalist political ideology and movement, characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocracy, militarism, forcible suppression of opposition, belief in a natural social hierarchy, subordination of individual interests for the perceived ..."

Trump is none of the above. In fact, it's your so called "democrats" who are suppressing free speech, censorsing everything and trying to lock up their opposition or get him killed.

BS/lie number 3. Trump has not been convicted.

What do you mean by Trump was fact checked more in that debate ? He was the ONLY one fact checked by those biased "moderators". Luckily, her bs was exposed later but anyone watching it live or before even watching fact checks with half a brain knew her first claim about no active duty troops in combat zones was a huge lie.

BS/lie number 4. I'm not perfectly ruining anything here. I didn't even post on this thread for ages but felt the need to after tented's stupid Trump memes and post that he feels better about the state of things after posting a post a video claiming she'll win. Before his childish memes post, there was no post here since Sept 5th by James17 and believe me, there have been plenty of laughable things about Harris since then but I just couldn't be bothered. So I logged on to post some memes about the idiot you support for a reality check in response.

Yes, she clearly has a drink problem. How times times do we have to hear "So, I grew up in a middle class family". Cackle, cackle, cackle, awkward word salad, mumble, cackle, mumble.

BS/lie number 5. She's a good speaker ? Haha. She claimed TWICE that over 220 million Americans died 'cos of covid. I'm done with this shit. How in the world you could elect someone this bad and this stupid is beyond me. And to think you're questioning Trump's mental capacity haha.

I like the US. It's your government and extreme political nut jobs that are the problem as is the case in most countries. That's where the fucked up part with regard to the US comes from as it affects the whole world unfortunately.

BS number 6. Strong NATO is best for me ? NATO are the reason we're likely on course for nuclear war as your country are prolonging the conflicts and providing all the weapons to Ukraine and Israel and escalating badly in the middle east, especially Iran. Here's a little reality check for you. In the past 40 years the US has attacked at least 13 countries but supposedly we're safer with them "protecting" us.

You're welcome for the fact checks on all your BS.

The lies from you are becoming more and more annoying. Stop writing bs about people. I have no hatred of Jews whatsoever (if you actually read my posts instead of rambling nonsense in your head making stuff up about people) and because this forum is so full of gullible NPCs devoid of critical thinking, they actually believe you and like your posts. I hate Netanyahu, their ex prime minister Bennett, their government, the IDF and all the scum supporting the killing of innocent people in Palestine and all the other territories they've attacked. I have absolutely NOTHING against those who do not support the killing and there are many protesting in Israel because they can't stand their government. You've been making shit up about me and others here related to tennis for years. Try and stop making up lies about people hating different races and religions. It's despicable. The word scum relates to those killing innocent women and children and anyone else who supports this. There are many Jews and Israelis who don't and they are not scum.

Yeah, I'm delighted for you that you're so happy they killed Sinwar. Hopefully Netanyahu is next. It's clear as day who killed more people. We rarely agree on anything because if you notice there's a common trait with Nadal fans which is curious. Notice how many on this thread support the "democrats" and just also happen to be Nadal fans. Only Fiero comes to mind on this thread as a non Nadal fan who also can't stand Trump. It's actually bizarre because Nadal was a very defensive player but yet Nadal fans support indiscriminate killing and wars whereas Federer who was my favourite player was very aggressive and yet I'm advocating for peace and hate seeing people killed. It's quite something. I'd love to study it more and gather stats on why fans of a defensive player like seeing people blown to bits. I guess defensive player = self defense huh ? (blowing people to bits).

The majority of posters here support the warmongering side, have been NPC asf on covid, vaccines etc and also happen to be Nadal fans. That's quite something. Definitely wired differently. I, on the other hand, am I critical thinker (I don't trust a whole lot from my government and no one sane should imo), DO NOT support wars, do not like seeing innocent people being blown to bits, do not support woke/DEI nonsense (if John wants to be called Mary despite having meat and 2 veg that's fine but don't enforce this crap on me 'cos I'm not having any of it. I know you don't agree on this either) which again is what voting for the democrats brings. I also advocate for free speech, something the "democrats" are trying desperately to suppress. So, yeah, very happy to be wired differently.

Brother, I don’t even know WTF an NPC is. Non Profit Corporation? Nonsensical Piece of Crap? Sounds like SJW jargon, from modern times when everybody gets a handy label that’s impossible to prove and even more impossible to refute.

I’m no longer believing people who say “I don’t hate Jews, I’m just criticising the Israeli government.” You don’t speak it so articulately as this, but this is what you’re saying.

When I see the universities in America and elsewhere overrun by both students and professors - and presidents also - calling for the genocide of Jews, then I know they’re not criticising the Israeli government. When I see Jews harassed on the street and so-called protesters attacking synagogues, then I know it’s about the Jews, not the Israeli government. Every week there are masked mobs marching somewhere in our largest cities chanting for the destruction of Jews. I could go on, and on, but you’ll get the gist.

When I see all of this directed at Jews and the Jewish state, and no protests of any form on a similar scale against Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, China, Syria, and others, for what they’re doing to “innocent Muslims”, atrocities which are immeasurably larger than all the wars put together that Israel have fought to survive since the country was established by the UN in 1948, then I ask myself why the only country which safeguards human rights, religious freedom and inclusive democracy is singled out for special treatment.

There are two possibilities: one is that people hate the Jews and want to see them harmed to the ultimate degree, and the other possibility is that people don’t hate the Jews but also don’t realise that they’re simply useful idiots siding with psychopaths who have monotonously told us that they want to destroy Jews everywhere. These useful idiots don’t realise that the mullahs and theocratic sadists, the misogynistic bullies and homophobic psychos, the eradicators of freedom to worship other religions that aren’t Islam, are not victims in a region they’ve destroyed for centuries.

You can pick which one of these things you are. I won’t argue against which one you pick - but you’re one of them.

Now I’ll be leaving the forum again soon, I only came back to celebrate the great Rafa Nadal, and having done that I’ll return to my cave again soon, but this subject is dead for me now. You can protest your innocence and pour more abuse on the Jewish state in your reply. Do it. Everybody can read, and decide which of the two options you are, for themselves…

NPC - "In video games, an NPC is a non-playable character. In slang terms, an NPC is someone who doesn't think for themselves or behaves very predictably. If someone is acting like an NPC in real life, they might repeat the opinions of others or be very predictable in conversations".

Well, that's up to you but you can't decide what I'm thinking based on your mind thank you very much and I'm neither of what you just ranted there. I have no issues with Jewish people unless they're supporting the killing of innocent civilians (mostly women and children) and thankfully not all of them do. I already said it in my post (which I linked again in my previous post) but you don't fucking listen or read it properly and just keep ranting about what I am in your warped mind. I'm not in a university in America either as you well know so there's no need to equate me to some mad rant in your head. This subject is well and truly dead for me also as it's absolute bs that you think you can tell not only me but the whole forum how you think my mind works and pointless discussing the killing of innocent people with clowns who actually support it. Laughable.

Anyone who isn't absolutely blind can see the amount of destruction in Gaza and Rafah and put 2 and 2 together that the number of deaths is actually greatly underestimated. Enjoy your cave. It seems the hatred in your head belongs to people who lived in them but this is 2024 not 10,000 BC.

I'm not embarrassed. Trump has said he'll be a dictator for a day. That's enough for me. Because why stop there? He's also talking about jailing his political enemies. It doesn't matter that he was elected once. (And not by a majority, just by the electoral college.) It matters that he was unwilling to give up power and tried to call the election fraudulent. Tried to get his VP to nullify the election. Tried to get his mob to stop the certification of the election. This is the behavior of a dictator, not of a person who believes in democracy and its processes. To this day, he won't admit that he lost the election in 2020, nor will his new VP pick. (Any question why he needed a new one, since he tried to have the last one killed?) This is not the behavior of someone who believes in our election process, or system of laws, or our Constitution.

He seems to want to be next time. And I'm not sure you have ground to stand on that he's not a fascist.

He's talked about "forcible suppression of opposition." He does exalt nationalism, and is pretty racist and is totally in bed with white nationalists and Christian nationalists. He would undermine the basic structure of the government to put his people in place and restrict actual checks and balances of the various branches of government. I could go on, but this is pretty fascistic.

The irony is your cackling Indian opposition WAS NOT elected and is supposedly a democrat. They pushed Biden out (also not democratic) and just appointed her with no election. What's wrong with this picture?
What is up with always calling her "Indian," by the way? Do you hate Indians? She's actually American, I'm sure you know, of Indian and Jamaican extraction. "Black" on her Jamaican father's side, if that's as confusing to you as it seems to be to Trump.

No one "appointed" her the candidate. Biden withdrew his candidacy and threw his support to Kamala. The party, which had been in some disarray and disunity after Biden's poor performance after the June debate, coalesced behind her. It was an unprecedented circumstance, but there was nothing undemocratic about it. Presenting a candidate for President is a party choice. I am a member of the Democratic party, and this was the choice that we all agreed with. Kamala Harris is the candidate that we all agreed to support, and I think you can see that clearly. That's an inter-party issue and we were all happy with it.

It does make me laugh how much you made fun of Biden and gamed that he'd be replaced, yet, when he was, you are clutching your pearls.

So in other words, somebody who follows the crowd. Who repeats fashionable orthodoxies or predictable counter-narratives? Didn't I in my previous post - the third line from the bottom - predict that you would repeat your Jewish hatred in reply to me, while ignoring the bigger and more dangerous happenings in the ME? i believe I did. You repeated your pre-occupation, which isn't the slaughter of "innocent Muslims" (if it was, you wouldn't ignore what Pakistan is doing, what's happening with China, Syria etc - in fact, because of the scales involved, you'd ignore what's happening in Palestine and focus on the bigger picture): your pre-occupation is the Jews.

I'm saying this not to rehash our argument, you've stated your case and we all see it - I'm saying this in relation to your constant mention of NPC's. Thanks for the description, it's very clear what it means. It refers to you. You're with the crazy anti-Semitic far-left who are dominating the news, marching through the cities and universities, attacking synogues etc, and creating a toxic orthodoxy around the conflict.

You're running with the sheep, bro. Even though you will hate to admit it, you must accept that my position on what's happening there is the lesser accepted, least spoken, less predictable one. Why? Because I don't follow the crowd ever in forming my opinions. In fact, when I see the mob forming, I am instantly suspicious.

Now, this topic about Trump as dictator is far-fetched. Trump is not a good man but nor is he a dictator, or even a wannabe dictator. January 6th was enough that should stop people voting for him again, but election denial is something the Democrats did en masse - from the top down - after Trump won in 2016, and Dems have an inbuilt inclination to tar anyone who disagree with them as being a Nazi, etc. Trump isn't a Nazi either. When the US finally succumbs to a dictator - and it will - he will be a charisma-cliche with little substance, who most likely Democrats will adore and acclaim as the necessary figure needed at that time - to stop tyranny from the other side, funny enough. It will lead to the civil war which seems already to be loading.

But brother! You're talking here freely and determinedly about dictators - it took you ten pages to accept that the terrible Vladimir Putin is a dictator, the worst seen in Europe since Stalin. Are you sure you're not an NPC?

You're hilarious man. I'm about as far away from NPC as it gets. That just proves you don't read things properly. I didn't take the covid "vaccine" because I do my own research and it was obvious early on it was rushed and pushed on us for a reason, clearly didn't work, was making people sicker, destroying their immune systems and giving them heart problems and just wasn't needed in the first place but non critical thinkers queued up for it. It's now causing turbo cancers. I've been to a funeral already for someone who got turbo cancer straight to stage 4 and died 3 weeks later. Very, very sad and all because she trusted the government. As a result, I'm perfectly healthy unlike the tons of people I work with and know who are constantly sick. I haven't taken a sick day in over 25 years. I don't support the current thing. I don't "stand with Ukraine". I don't support Russia either but both countries are corrupt asf and this was started by the west. Standing for Ukraine means you're too dumb to realize tons of people not even in conflict zones have taken advantage of ridiculous government free handouts of houses and benefits all while the homeless crisis at home is no better off. NPCs are blind sheep who are devoid of critical thinking and do or say what every one else does. Harris supporters. If you're so naive and stupid to believe everything the media says about orange man bad and cackling, alcoholic Indian woman good and orange man is a threat to democracy just cos MSM keep rehashing this lie, then you're the very definition of gullible NPC as it's the "democrats" who are a threat to democracy. The "democrats" are the ones censoring everything and trying desperately to crush free speech.

About the only thing we agree on recently in this thread is the trans/DEI crap is absolute bs. I've never gone to a protest in my life and I'm not anti-Semitic. Cut that bs out. I told you enough times already you don't read posts properly. Try telling Moxie who thinks Trump is a dictator and a fascist haha. This is NPC to the max. I never said Trump was a good guy and have said multiple times here Trump and Harris are both clowns but that Trump is the better choice for the survival of mankind. I'm not even gonna entertain that nazi comment about Trump as it's laughable. Putin is a very, very intelligent guy. No teleprompters for him when he talks in very long interviews. You should feel thankful we have Putin in power 'cos Dmitry Medvedev probably would have used the nukes by now. Putin is protecting his country from the west who caused the conflict in Ukraine and I know you still haven't watched the video I posted on it.

Btw, these are the people laughably calling Trump "weird". You have to laugh at the sheer audacity of it and yet the NPCs lap it up and call Trump supporters weird because they're programmed to by their TVs and mainstream media. Sad, sad individuals completely devoid of critical thinking. You clearly don't understand what NPCs are and, once again, it's plain as day obvious for anyone here that I'm about as far as it gets from NPC.

Look, reiterating the lies of your so called "democrats" is the very definition of NPC. I literally just watched this clip and just 'cos this silly woman and her hilariously bad propaganda nut jobs call Trump a fascist or a dictator doesn't mean you should repeat that crap, especially when it's complete horseshit. You're an intelligent person but you're not showing it here as you've fallen for their trap of trying to brainwash you with nonsense. I mean, do you seriously think Trump can be compared to Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin ? If you do, I'd seek serious help...

You think trying to lock up their main opposition, censor free speech, thereby pushing only their one sided agenda is democratic ? Your party are the ones who have made the world an absolute joke with this trans/woke/5 million gender crap. There's nothing democratic about it because it's more a "crime" these days to misgender someone than to rob a bank or kill 1 million people. People are locked up for social media posts while war criminal George Bush (who is infinitely worse than Putin btw despite what the media tell you since he ordered the killing of people all based on a huge lie) is allowed just walk the streets like a normal person. Your party keep repeating the lies that Trump is a danger to democracy and uses dangerous rhetoric. "It's time to put Trump in a bullseye" is perfectly acceptable and not dangerous at all?! Your party's censorship and push to end free speech is the polar opposite of democracy and it's clear as day that it's actually the so called democrats who are the threat to democracy.

Re calling her Indian, spare me the Kieran-esque nonsense of do I hate Indians. I work with many lovely Indian people. I also think Vivek Ramaswamy is a very sharp guy. No scripted answers needed there, no notes, same as JD Vance. No, it's simple as this: it's 'cos she's not black. She never referred to herself as black until this year to try and steal some votes. It's cheap. I know her father is Jamaican and he's ashamed of her. She previously referred to herself as Indian or Asian. I think I'll tell the people in work tomorrow I'm Mongolian. We'll see how that goes down. I mean, I'm free to identify as whatever I want according to the people you support, right ? Maybe a Mongolian cisgender goat ?

Looks as if Biden's doing his level best to throw her under the bus right now despite initially appointing her as a diversity hire btw.

I can't deal with most of your ranting and nonsense, because it's just tired, and there's no point debating it all with you. You're going to believe what you will. But it is a blatant untruth to say that she's not black. Her father is a Black Jamaica. She has always identified as black, having graduated from Howard University in the 1986, and is a member of AKA, which is a historically black sorority. Howard University is one of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities here in the US, if you don't know that, and I wouldn't expect you to.

You can read more, and the fact-check on that here:

For the record, she doesn't identify as "Asian," but "South Asian," and that only as part of her heritage. Also, I find nothing that says that her father is "ashamed" of her, though I do understand that they are "estranged." That does not make him any less her father, or her any less Black.

If you ever read or listened to anything but Trump, you would know all of this, already. Your position is incredibly disrespectful and cynical.

Well, I am sure this will get me in trouble, but people punch cards all the time. As for Miss Harris, it seems to me that if you look back over time, apart from obviously going to Howard University (as you rarely would be able to) because you are half black, is not the end of the story. She has historically embraced more of her mother and her South Asian or Indian heritage more so that her Jamaican or black heritage. That is not for any of us to really challenge. The objective truth is that she is mixed race – – part black (not from America) and part Indian (either part Indian or part South Asian). That is basically it. How she has played that that and her historical family tree is up to her and she has to live with those choices. Trump is a typical New York boy born of other parents or of parents with other stock, like German stock. It is what it is. The race car gets pulled when needed to win political election. And, sadly, here we are talking about all that again. What is becoming quite clear to me is that all of this is racial identity politics and it is baloney. I like to think that someday the electorate will get beyond these types of things and just get to what the policies are and vote on the policies, not the racial or ethnic or religious identity politics or the politics of those who just spout nonsense and aggrandize.

It's not that it should get you "in trouble," but I think you have some things wrong, and other things I disagree with.
As for Miss Harris, it seems to me that if you look back over time, apart from obviously going to Howard University (as you rarely would be able to) because you are half black, is not the end of the story.
It's not just "apart from going to Howard University." It's her life story. Her mother was quite aware of raising black girls. And so, consequently, were they, of their identity. Please read the Reuters fact-check I posted above.
She has historically embraced more of her mother and her South Asian or Indian heritage more so that her Jamaican or black heritage. That is not for any of us to really challenge. The objective truth is that she is mixed race – – part black (not from America) and part Indian (either part Indian or part South Asian). That is basically it.
Well, she IS from America, but she's not from African-American stock, if that's what you mean. Obama heard this one. But his father was African. Being from Jamaican ancestry DOES mean you come from a slave culture, if you're black, so that's different. Also, it's not Indian OR South Asian. India IS in South Asia. She is specifically from Indian people, which is simply, by definition, also South Asian. If you're going to parse it out, you should get it right, and know why you're distinguishing these things.

We do know that she was raised mostly by her mother and her mother's family, so, yes, the Indian influence is strong. But her mother continued to work with African American activists, as she had when she was married to Kamala's father, and raised her children to know they were Black.
How she has played that that and her historical family tree is up to her and she has to live with those choices. Trump is a typical New York boy born of other parents or of parents with other stock, like German stock. It is what it is. The race car gets pulled when needed to win political election. I don't see that Harris is pulling the race card. She is what she is. She actually never emphasizes that she's a woman, or Black, or Indian. She's running on her record, on her hopefulness for a better country. However, I DO think that Trump trades in racial identity politics, in a very bad way. He dog-whistles racism all the time, against blacks, Mexicans, all manner of immigrants who are brown. Telling people that Haitian immigrants are eating their pets? Calling them illegal, when they aren't? Even Vance says he doesn't care that they're "technically legal." That's racism. It's not "baloney," when it's being used as a weapon, and it's Trump that's been using it as a cudgel for years. It's hate speech. And who is using religious identity politics? Not the democrats. It's a false equivalency to say that both sides are doing it. You can wish for a world where people run on their merits, but I don't think we'll see that until MAGA is finished, which will hopefully be at the end of this election cycle, when Trump loses.

So why the hell did she refer to herself as Indian or Asian in that case until trying to get elected ? Mind explaining that to us, genius ? This isn't ranting and nonsense, this is what she herself said before this year so it's your clown candidate you should complain to with a hissy fit and not me. I believe what Kamala Harris said herself, ok ?

Watch the video below and stop lying to yourself and others here. My position is incredibly disrespectful and cynical haha?! She literally says she's Indian in the video so none of your "fact checks" are worth a toss. You clearly believe every damn thing your "democrat" liars brainwash you with.

Ps: Look harder. Her father is ashamed of her as I stated correctly. This took me a few seconds...

She does put on a bit of a blackface accent at times, as if she’s girl from the hood. And of course she plays the race card - she’s a Democrat.

This is a funny thing when you meet Americans abroad, they’ll tell you within minutes the ingredients of the racial soup that makes their identity. We were in Sicily recently, eating outside as you do, and an American couple beside us stuck up a conversation. He’s Italian, tracing his roots. In fairness, his roots weren’t so deeply buried, his grandma was from Sicily and he was raised speaking Italian. His missus then listed all the ways she’s divided: Irish (natch), Welsh, Italian, Spanish, a few more - then the clincher: 1/624th Red Injun.

I contained myself until they brought up politics, saying they might stay in Italy depending on the election. Democrats, I asked.

Well you can guess we couldn’t vote Trump.

Nah, it was the mention that you’re partly Indian about five minutes ago, otherwise I couldn’t tell. Now I’m a good guy so I only smiled and didn’t laugh, but it also made me think a little bit about the purity tests some Americans face when it comes to identity. That you’re all basically immigrants going way back, and so it’s a natural thing to want to know more about this. It’s exciting, and we’d all do it, no question about it, it’s natural.

But there’s also a lot of politics involved. A lot of emphasising the differences. Hierarchies and merit badges. Niche markets. And forms of racism, too. But always a heightened awareness of race, as if somehow within a racial identity there’s some virtue that isn’t in another racial identity. I told the lady I’m an untainted Irishman, but I said it in a way she knows I’m joking. There’s nothing wrong with racial mixes, of any races. But of course, there is something wrong about politicising it.

Because that’s racism…

She puts on so many accents it's embarrassing. I watched a video recently showing all the different ones and she's adding new ones.

She's so fake it's puke making.

@Moxie ^ I realize you disagree, but the race card is pulled and it has been pulled by her. Before Biden's troubles this past summer and before he was elected, she trumped (sorry about that LOL) her Indian ancestry as the first Indian VP in our nation's history. Now it is more about her black side and she definitely changes her inflection and accents and that has been captured many times. it is why I don't fancy politicians much--too many feel they have to do that "dance". I prefer ones who are unabashed in their beliefs and state it thusly. Trump is playing a "race card"--if the wall remained and his policies remained from when she and Joe took office we would not have had these millions coming in and being victimized by the coyotes and gangs in Central America to buy their way in. Trump would not have the immigration card to play. By the way, you left out Asians or Chinese, or people from Congo or the Middle East. How and why are these people crossing in illegally during this Administration in unseen numbers??? (Hint--they were incentivized by Joe and Harris even before they took office--it was their announced policy of taking down Trump's policies and they were lining up in droves) Is Trump racist against them or is he commenting on what many citizens decry as a national security issue, to say nothing of being a nation of laws that are enforced for the good of the citizenry, as opposed to those who are not citizens. For the record, Kamala Harris is an Indian-Jamaican American woman ethnically speaking. That is it, but she is just plain American before all of that. That does not mean she should get all voters of black or Indian descent to vote for her or even hint at that--"if you don't vote for me, then you ain't black man"--is hogwash and needs to be retired. Just talk policies and how they work in your view. Stop with trying to insinuate a certain ethnic group should vote a certain way (Democrats do that all the time) just because they are brown or black or Asian or whatever. That is racism and insulting the intelligence of folks as a group based on racial tones.

As for your beloved Trump (the man you love to hate), it is hard to admit but he did a decent job and did not start any wars (remember that prophesy by Democrats and lunatics?), kept inflation and unemployment down to levels not seen in decades before, got Operation Warpspeed going to push through vaccines for the coronavirus and early on (I believe in January of 2020) shut down the border to people coming in from China which (naturally) led to him being called a racist and a xenophobe even though it was a rational and smart thing to do at the time even if it ended up not working, cut both personal and corporate taxes which benefitted the very rich and poor alike, and especially the tens of thousands of small businesses that actually employ the lionshare of people in USA, and also said a lot of stupid stuff that was very unpresidential and downright vulgar at time, along with being dumb politically. He was and likely still is angry they talked about impeaching him even before he was sworn in. Trump either wins or he is off the political stage soon. So, you have that to look forward to.

She's not Asian, ok? Can we just put that one to bed?

Yes, she called herself Indian, on an Indian cooking show. The host actually said, "Not everyone knows that." Presumably, because they rather knew more that she was black, not realizing she was also of South Asian descent, i.e., of Indian descent. This is situationally appropriate. She doesn't have to go into her full family tree for the purposes of this cooking show, right. This is extremely facile example that the internet uses to support Trump's race-baiting of her. And she doesn't take the bait.

Clutch the pearls...Harris smoke pot in college, and her father took an opportunity to say he was ashamed she'd said that. Boohoo. But I'll repeat what I said above...ashamed of her or not, estranged or not, her father is still Black, which makes her half-Black.

It's called "code-switching," and a lot of Black people in the US do it. And she DID grow up in a predominantly Black neighborhood in Berkley. I suggest next time you're in polite company, (which this isn't, and I'm fine with that,) that you not use "blackface accent." Crikey! I know you guys on the other side of the pond can be a bit backward when it comes to racial attitudes, but that phrase, which I hope you made up, is pretty gross.

I have addressed Harris's claims about her racial admixture above, so I won't repeat myself, but she has never claimed to be other than what she is. She's also NOT running on her identity as a woman, or a Black woman, or as an Indian woman, if you bothered to listen to her, and not just what Trump has to say about her.

Talking about the problems with immigration does NOT excuse Trump's vilifying of the people coming across. He whips up his crowds by lumping everyone into vile, horrible criminals, and spewing lies about them, too. That is racism, pure and simple. That is not necessary for discussing how to solve the problem. And, I will mention here, that there was a very good, bipartisan bill earlier this year to make some real headway on the border issues, and Trump told his minions in Congress to kill it, because he wanted to run on it. That's not a person who cares about the welfare of this country. That's a person who cares only about his own ambitions. And also, presumably, about trying to stay out of jail.

And make no mistake: I do not love to hate Trump. I just hate him, pure and simple. The sooner I can stop worrying about his influence on this country, or, God forbid, that he might ever run it again, the better. I won't miss him one bit. He's a vile person, and racist and a narcissist, and he's dragged our politics into the gutter. He's led the charge on incivility in our political discourse. On top of that, I seriously think he's losing it. He waxed lyrical the other day for several minutes on the size of Arnold Palmer's penis. This doesn't bother you?
