While you pat yourself on the back and congratulate yourself for, well, nothing, those videos show the reality of what is occurring because of your ideas and your political party. You can't bear to look at that reality because it immediately gives the lie to the idea that everything you have believed in for years and still believe in is actually working in the real world and bringing about social progress.

You don't want to admit that your civil-rights-movement religion has failed for both blacks and whites. It has completely degraded blacks and encouraged them to wallow in self-destruction, while requiring that whites, especially right-wing whites, endlessly debase themselves for things they were never responsible for doing. Low-income blacks - who are supposed to be the main beneficiaries of your ideas - have not benefitted in the slightest from any of the ideas you have pushed. Everything you have recommended to help them has failed and continues to fail. That's why Bob Woodson, one "African-American" civil rights activist who marched with King, left the movement. He thinks it became a disgrace after the 1960s and he's right.

The only "benefit" - if it can be called that - that your civil rights religion gives to low-income blacks is that it allows them to indulge in Nazi-like race hatred against whites openly and without fear of stigma. And the only class of blacks overall that benefits from your ideas are scumbag race hustlers like Sharpton and Michael Eric Dyson who exploit white left-wing sensibilities for their own personal profit. The poor blacks who are supposed to be assisted by your ideas get nothing out of them except self-destruction and the opportunity to hate whites, openly and without restraint.

Wow, I suppose that's one way of looking at it, but it's pretty out-there. I suppose you recognize that I'm not a policy maker, so I'm not sure how these are "my ideas." You still haven't really made clear what your thesis is for posting all of these random tragedies. You have policy complaints, and you hate the left, but what are you really trying to say? It seems that you're saying that Black Americans don't have self-agency, and that their woes come from white Democrats. That's not only paternalistic, it's a pretty serious re-writing of history.

So let me ask you again: what is your actual thesis, here? You talked a lot about failed policies, but you don't explain why that makes you post all of this police blotter stuff. Make a clear thesis that we can debate. Up to now it's just been a mash-up of random acts of violence and your endless hectoring at the left. Try to have the back-bone to make an actual point. To Federbergy’s point, I have spoken to numerous medical Professionals in recent weeks who have told me their hospitals are near-vacant and that the very few Covid cases they have seen are completely mild.....but no one speaks up because they don’t want to get shouted down by the PC left. The reality is that this pandemic is nowhere near as severe as advertised. It is simply being used by the Democrats to undermine Trump and to vent their inner desires to control people who don’t comply with their whims.

I'm not a huge fan of Bari Weiss. I found her lazy establishment orthodoxy about Tulsi Gabbard (her trip to Syria) annoying. But I think this resignation letter of hers should be a wake up to the NYT. I think their non-political journalism remains first class, but their Op-Ed section is pure dogshit. The numbers come from Orlando Health itself, not from the local Fox affiliate. Even if the numbers you believed about Florida were right (which they're clearly not in lieu of this report), they still wouldn't be much to be worried about because the vast majority of the carriers are asymptomatic. But it looks like even those mild cases aren't as numerous as the DeSantis-hating media wanted everyone to believe. Sorry to break it to you.
