LOL! try to be kind to "all about Me, Me, Me,"I take that to mean she plans on losing early in singles and doesn't intend to hang around...
I dont know I will have to look that up, he has played with Coco before hasnt he?Who is Sock playing mxd with?
Jack Sock will be playing with Leylah FernadezI dont know I will have to look that up, he has played with Coco before hasnt he?
I think Coco plays enough, with doubles, quite franklyIt doesn't look like Coco is playing Mixed, but Jess Pegula is playing mixed doubles with Austin Krajicek.
Yep she does and she could go deep in both.I think Coco plays enough, with doubles, quite frankly
There lies a problem, I know doubles help your singles, though in GS I feel singles at this stage is more important than winning doubles, just my opinionYep she does and she could go deep in both.
It is more important unless the player is a doubles specialist. I have seen several players who have gone really far in tournaments in both doubles and singles and the person advancing in singles withdrew from the doubles. There lies a problem, I know doubles help your singles, though in GS I feel singles at this stage is more important than winning doubles, just my opinion
I would say at this point in time Coco is more a singles player, than a doubles specialist, I know she loves playing doubles, though there may come a time when she will have to decide at a tournament if she goes deep, especially a GS, which is more importantIt is more important unless the player is a doubles specialist. Oh she is way more of a Singles player even though she is the #1 doubles player. That is pretty crazy to say. She needs to focus on her singles and I think she does that. The same would be for Jess Pegula. Her focus has to be on her singles. When Coco was playing with Caty McNally, Caty wasn't as much of a single player. Caty is now trying to focus more on her singles and I hope she can do better with that.I would say at this point in time Coco is more a singles player, than a doubles specialist, I know she loves playing doubles, though there may come a time when she will have to decide at a tournament if she goes deep, especially a GS, which is more important
I think this is really smart and she can slowly climb her way back. She has tons of time. Some people say she is gonna disappear and I don't think that is going to happen at all. I think now is the perfect time to start really working on her game and playing those tournaments like you have mentioned and getting some wins under her belt and her confidence back. She will be back and she will be older when she gets back and it will be better for her.Actually this is good advice from a tennis coach on Emma's game at present, Emma's ranking now of 79# is her real ranking considering the matches she has played since winning the USO last year, he also thinks if she now goes and plays smaller tournaments start winning consecutive matches and gain more confidence
Hopefully, though she needs to stay with the one coach as well.I think this is really smart and she can slowly climb her way back. She has tons of time. I have Patrick McEnroe, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, and Pam Shriver in the stands.I have Mary Carillo again as a commentator....Chandra Rubin too, though Mary always over talks her
She does need to do just that. Give one some time to work with her. I have had only 2 coaches in my entire life. The first one was when I was really little when I started at the age of 5. Then once I got the fundamentals of the game down I switched to a more appropriate coach at the age of 8 and I have had that same coach ever since.Hopefully, though she needs to stay with the one coach as well.
I hope Pam stays in the standsI have Patrick McEnroe, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, and Pam Shriver in the stands.
