Do you think that will be the case here with Emma?
Very likely. She hasn't impressed me since September 2021. I haven't seen her string 3 or 4 well played matches in a row. I'll give her until the end of Aus 2023 to change my mind.

You have lots of patience Kskate, for me Emma has to stick with one coach for starters

I'm not saying she shouldn't start w/ a stable coaching assignment. What I'm saying is, personally I'm giving her until the end of Aus to get her act together. Whoever she decides to stay with, it takes time for those results to actually manifest. Let's hope she stays w/ Turs. If that's the case we should start seeing some positive results in the fall or in Jan. I'm giving her some additional latitude because she is a teen.

Point taken, to me she has had too many coaches, hopefully she stays with Tursnov, though I did read, this new coaching arrangement is not a permanent one.at present.

I think with Emma she is still young and really I guess so is Elena. So I will have to give them some time. With Emma she does have to pick a coach and go with it for sometime and see how it works out. The revolving door thing doesn't seem to be working. Elena I think will be a very good player on faster surfaces and not so much on Clay. That being said she lost today. I guess that can happen from time to time and if it starts happening a lot well then I think I will have to start thinking harder about the situation about Elena.

Vee seems to have settled in some but this game to go up 3-1 is taking forever.

Emma has to win one of the smaller events to build up her resume,at the moment her win at the Open comes off like a fluke.Right now she is complaining about her wrist,it looks like just before a slam she becomes "injured". Maybe she is struggling with anxiety and the burden of expectation from the British media.
