Commentators on ESPN who were there said this.
The way Aljaz looked after hitting the ball is indicating something else. The cameraman touched his breast , so i am not sure about it. it isnt visible on tv?

My fun match of the day is Rublev/Berretini. It’s win/win and just going to enjoy watching them hit the bejesus off the ball.

I really like both players but that Russian kid deserves a breakthrough simply because a Russian painter has never made it to the QTRs of the USO. ; )

de Minaur serving to take it to a tiebreak. Thus far, neither player has even faced a BP.

Djokovic knew there was no one around when he hit the ball 100 mph you idiot. That would be like saying “when Federer hit the ball into the stands out of frustration, there could have been someone hovering above the court out the side of a helicopter and it could have hit him.” Stop making Djokovic out to be a totally unhinged lunatic when he isn’t. Yes, he has somewhat of a temper but you are exaggerating ridiculously because you dislike him and don’t want him to catch Nadal. That’s all this is about for you.

Like many players have said in the past when you hit a tennis ball or smash a racket in such anger you can NEVER control 100% where it goes and you can easily miss. You are such a fool you are hopeless no wonder you like Djokovic as a player. Again that’s like saying I want to drive 300 mph but it’s OK because there was nobody on the street nearby so there’s zero chance for an accident. You are a fool. Also as I said before I have showed my dislike to many players who act violently like that and they have zero slams. Get over it.

Since you brought up Nadal yet again, guess what Djokovic will never be loved like Nadal because people know that he has a bad personality. Nadal will not only finish with more slams but he will also be remembered as a better person and a much more loved champion. Now go back to crying.

Why?

And why didn’t Henmen just get a warning? Shouldn’t Wimbledon have favoritisms for their countryman?

Keep bending, I will call you out.
Ask the officials.
Doubt is they would decide differently when its about Maestro or Bull.
So your example is worthless, as you are, who the Fuck is Henman?

At the risk of reductio ad Hitlerum, how can de Minaur not see the similarity?

Pospisil was up 6-2 in the tiebreak. They’re now changing sides at 6-6.

EDIT: de Minaur wins the tiebreak 8-6, after being down 2-6. Impressive.

I had to go out, figuring I'd miss a TB. Bummed I did. Glad Alex won it. Blake says that De Minaur has been his dark horse, at least to make the SFs. Says the court and speed suits his game.

Kind of Beauty and the Beast, though. :astonished-face: I'm going with the Italian.

I am not a big fan of de Minaur’s game, he seems to be a pusher just putting the ball in play like Murray... Don’t get me wrong he’s very solid, precise and steady but just boring. He runs fast and just hits every ball at 75% capacity, and the opponents then beats themselves.

I don't think you've watched enough of his game. He's very fast and puts a lot of balls back but normally he's pretty aggressive and always trying to get to the net.

OK fair enough it’s true that I haven’t watched him often so maybe I’ll eventually change my mind. I’d also watch him even more if he’d get rid of his mustache. Lol

Reminds me of some Claycourt Specialist you fall in love with.

I really hope Thiem starts finding his A game. Today would be a good start. I really want to see him lift a slam trophy. He has been too competitive with the Big Three not to take one of these trophies.

Well whatever happens hopefully the winner of Thiem and FAA will end up winning the title. Obviously Thiem deserves it more based on his overall career, but sometimes life doesn’t work like that... One thing is for sure it will be a professionally played match with no disqualification. Both are class acts.
