No he doesn’t. I like Kyrgios but that is downright stupid of him to say. He has a history that Djokovic does not.
It's not about history, it's about when you finally hurt someone. But his point, if anything, is how long he'd have been banned from tennis, which might actually be true, and that WOULD be about his history.

It's not that subjective, though. He injured that woman. "Intent" is not part of the standard. You mentioned above that maybe they should take into account a history of behavior, and in that, as you even say, Novak is already on the line there. But you know what was done to Nalbandian at Queens, even though there was no bad intention. And Shapovalov in DC. What Nalbandian did to make that person's shin bleed was probably less dangerous than hitting the woman today in the neck. The rules are pretty clear...use your body, racquet or a ball to hurt someone, intentionally or not, and if it is done in anger, you're out.

Moxie, for goodness sake, I knew you would eventually bring your stultified, low-testosterone perspective to this. First of all, how in the hell can you say Nalbandian had no bad intention? He was enraged and tried to kick a board as hard as he could. I was his number one advocate but saying he did not have a bad intention there is ludicrous.

Also, I never brought up the point about intent. I was bringing up the point about reckless disregard for another person. Nalbandian at Queens clearly showed that. He kicked a board in front of someone and made them bleed. As much as I like Nalbandian as a player, that is totally inexcusable and he deserved to be ejected. No questions asked. Djokovic, on the other hand, flicked the ball out of frustration like he has a million times before and was unfortunate enough to have it hit someone. That is nothing like what Nalbandian did. Tennis players routinely smack the ball a little bit harder when they’re annoyed. They do not routinely kick boards into other people and make their legs bleed.

This woman who was hit was shaken up and a little bit scared in the moment. She was also shocked and annoyed. I don’t blame her one bit. But it was a result of a terrible misfortune for Djokovic after he hit the ball a little bit too hard. It was nothing like what Nalbandian did. Not at all.

This was not a misfortune or bad luck by Novak, his bad behaviour has been there for many years now and frankly I’m surprised that such an incident hadn’t happened before. He came close many times already before.

This is what I mean about white leftists like yourself being absolutely nothing like black people (and of course being totally incompetent in understanding them). Your city is on fire with violent crime and here you are talking about a tennis ball hitting someone in the neck as if Djokovic fired 50 rounds of ammunition at an umpire. Unbelievable.

I saw Obama’s close buddy Stephon Curry (yes, nice little clean cut “Steph” Curry) THROW A FUCKING MOUTHPIECE AT A REF INTENTIONALLY, one day after hanging out with Obama no less. And he barely got a slap on a wrist for it.

And then you see Djokovic accidentally hit a linesperson with a tennis ball and you act like a homicide was committed. The effeminacy of white left-wing people is astounding. They are the most low-testosterone human beings on the planet.

OK, task at hand: Coric or Thompson? I think I know where @MargaretMcAleer stands, mustache or no, but I'm going to root for Coric. On the theory that you root for the guy who beat your guy, and because @JesuslookslikeBorg has long championed him.

Would you please shut the fuck up? You are simply using this incident to vent your personal dislike for Djokovic with no concern for objectivity at all. You are making Djokovic sound like a convicted felon who has no control over himself. That is utterly ridiculous and everyone here knows that. You just personally loath Djokovic because a) he has owned Nadal numerous times, b) he is better than Nadal, and c) you are a pussy of a human being.

On TV they said that the most disappointing thing about Novak is that he just left without even answering questions or making a statement at the press conference that shows that he is sorry and taking responsibility. That was the wrong move to just leave like that.

No, for you to suggest that what Djokovic did is either as bad or even worse than what Nalbandian did is utterly stupid. Nalbandian kicked a board into someone. Djokovic accidentally hit a linesperson with a ball while he wasn't even looking at them. There is no comparison there. None.

Yeah, as though you would have cared. Just be honest and admit that you are trying to bash Djokovic in whatever way possible.

Djokovic is annoyed because he knows the tournament directors don't like his behavior generally and they tried to make an example out of him with this incident. What would the press conference have solved? Nothing. He said sorry to the linesperson and that's sufficient. Nothing he says to his critics like yourself is going to satisfy them.

I have repeatedly showed my dislike to all players who are violent on the tennis court. That includes Tsitsipas, Shapovalov, Djokovic, etc. My favourite players are people who are well behaved and have class like Auger Aliassime, Nadal, Thiem, etc. Get over it. I have been consistent throughout the years about what I like in players and what I don’t like.

Yeah, maybe they can learn to pick at their ass crack in front of millions of people and then go sit on the toilet for 35 minutes when they're losing a set 5-1. That is the epitome of class.

I am not questioning your consistency. I am just saying that you have a very effeminate mindset and that you don't relate to the mentality and intensity of the players on the court. There is a fine line between going 110% with a perfectionist mindset and ambition to win, on the one hand, and then losing your temper on the other. It's easy to veer from one to the other. Different people have different personalities. Some are more reserved than others. You should try to learn to accept people for their differences. A little bit of exuberance is not a bad thing.

Wow, as one troll to another, huh? I don't defend the Nadal trolls, but you above just tried to draw a comparison to Nadal using the bathroom. You vent your dislike of Nadal at all opportunities. You also take every opportunity to rewrite history, where Nadal is concerned...matches he won, but "shouldn't have," in your opinion, and massaging endlessly over how things might have gone differently. So what is the difference between you and Nadalfan2013, really?
