S.titsipas choked bigger than federer at wimbledon last year LOL, also he might become like federer losing lots of matches after having match points maybe not 21 times:lol6: still S.titsipas is one of the best players in the world right now.

He is really one of the best players, with bright future once the goats retire.
But this loss today Was just a hiccup compared to maestros brutal slam final loss on his best surface last year. Simply because of match importance and the great rivalry.

I bet Tsitsipas didn’t sleep at all last night. What a choke! I wonder how long before he can play at his normal level again. The scars will last a while. This clears the path for Djoke. Coric is the poor man’s version of Djoke and will lose in three sets if they meet.

I’m happy to see Hawkeye Live being used. Interference from lines people yelling occurred in every match. I do think the tennis governing body isn’t very smart. They don’t make decisions to improve the game when an iota of common sense would have resulted in better outcomes.

Does anyone know JJ Wolf, who Medvedev is playing today?

Khachanov/de Minaur could be exciting.
What happened to de Minaur in that second set? Bageled...anyone watching?

I see that Tented the Dumb Beaver pulled a Twitter and deleted my post about Nadal overachieving. But let me repeat, Nadal has overachieved massively at the US Open. Djokovic pulled one of the worst choke jobs in Grand Slam final history in the 2013 final and Nadal was lucky to avoid both Djokovic and Federer in 2017 and 2019. Plus, Berretini and Medvedev (especially Medvedev) could have and should have won last year against Nadal.

Against Berretini, Nadal got that lucky mis-hit at the end of the first set to land in and save his bacon. And, of course, Medvedev flopped in the fifth set while Nadal was clearly on the ropes.
Tented didn't delete your post. I moved it to the Ultimate Fedal thread where it belongs. I will remove all posts from this thread that are not related to this USO. Read your notifications. You will receive one every time a message is moved.

There's the restaurant owner in the park outside BJKTC screaming for Berretini! Fan base of one!

I was watching. He just started missing everything for eight games. No obvious reason. Really excited to see him pull it out though. Great chance for his first grand slam quarterfinal.
