it reminds me of like in my own country, philippines -- we have those little prejudices ourselves but not really , like, serious, more ''tribal" kind of thing - like also in usa - when southernersand northerners have their differences. but still all are in the same country. lol. i thnk peolle just do that.

Why some people are so happy with the Muzz loss? I wasn't surprised, he made a very good year, winning Wimbledon and his second Golden Medal which is not easy to reach. Too many emotions in a short time and time to take a little rest, good for him!
And Nishi? bah, he will lose the next match, it doesn't matter to who

''bah''...

i love that!! lol.

KEI'S doing great on his own - but i also think he's not big enough GAME AGAINST DELPO OR NOLE if either get through.
and mybe - IF MONFILS and he plays REALLY disicp;ined like we've n ever seen -- kei has the weakest game over-all that's why he has to work much harder for every point.

wasn't there some time in the tabloids before he was winning when they were rough on hm, though? like in those early years.
Absolutely. By most accounts, the British tabloids are the roughest. And it had much to do with Murray being a Scot, not an Englishman. Can we not feel the fine-points here? But, when Murray lost Wimbledon to Roger, where the crowd had very much favored Fed, and he was so obviously crushed that he cried, the locals softened on him. They realized they had a homegrown contender they should champion, and they did, after that. And he came good. It was a process, Murray and the British press, and Andy won.

that's what i reember -- usually wimbledon time -- i switch my sports reading to UK websites - i'd compare what they write between guardian, independent, mirror, etc...and even the scottish aper and also back out to the AGE , australian paper...and sort of get a feel for how they talk about andy. and tha't sht eimpression i got. lol.

Juan Martin looking tentative and Stan looking google-eyed.

i know -- awful how juan let that happen --
first to let himself get broken back and then start tie break so badly. he neds to bring it - hammer it.

It seems (sounds) there are many Argentines in the Stadium

I love the Scots, nice, smart and strong people and with a very good sense of humor :good:
