kei keeps on talking about being more attacking..today he really did it. mr chang will be pleased.

The part I saw (end of the fourth and the fifth) - Kei was really aggressive and dictating the points other than a short spell when Andy was stepping in and going after it mid-late fifth set. I had a feeling Kei would fold... the branch buckled but did not break. I'm hoping this will be a foundation for him to go on to better things.

Rumours were that changes might be afoot in the Kei camp... hopefully this will quash them and Michael Chang will be safe.

I just watched the end of 4th and 5th set. You could see that Andy was running low on fuel. He looked gassed against Lorenzi (of all people) and I think playing against Dimitrov and his former's coach gave him extra motivation. Credit to Kei, he really did go for it and was brave. It paid off for him. I was suspicious that he could serve out the match but he did it. So the Lendl effect didn't last all that long?

It was all Murray before the rain delay/roof closure, and Kei regrouped. Big win for him, though I'm sorry to see Andy go out. Will be pulling for Juan Martin tonight. I think it will be a battle.

I tell you, the lead up to USO is becoming more and more difficult to manage. Players do have to negotiate this part of the season carefully, after so many masters and 3 slams and physicality of the game. Andy has played so many matches he just couldn't muster any energy at the end, you could see it.

This year in particular, for those who played in the Olympics. Andy's played a lot of tennis this summer, with two emotional wins, which I think also takes it out of you. Still, there seem to be a lot of injuries this year, and not everyone went to Rio.

It is actually what Del Boy Trotter used to say. That role is considered the best sitcom character ever.

Nishikori made my (birth)day,he didn't make over-hyped Englishman any closer to his number 1 goal. :lulz1:

and Delboy used to say it, because it's the motto of the British SAS, and Murray isn't English.

Early break to Argentina. This many years into Murray's career and people still have a problem distinguishing between an Englishman and a Scot? :nono: That seems like not paying attention.

How's Murray not English? I don't know anyone who is more English than Murray.

His first language is English, he lives in England married to an English bird and before the referendum he was campaigning for staying with England.

I didn't know about SAS but considering Del Boy is much more iconic than them I wouldn't be surprised if it was the other way around, that they adopted what Del used to say.

Murray is British and a Scot. He's not English. Britain is more than just England, and they're not they same thing. Mastoor, I'm sure you know better than that.

Murray's Scottish - born in Scotland to Scottish parents. Lives in England? So what? Djokovic lives in Monte Carlo.

Stan keeps hitting smashes right back to Juan, and gets what he deserves.
