nole has a beautiful soul. that's what one can say.

Brad didn't even ask LOL

I guess it still remains a mystery with that arm. I really hope they will schedule Nole and Jo-Willy at night on Tuesday. Don't they have to when Nole finished so late tonight? Fingers crossed, so I can watch it.

good workout for djoko who was pretty good..

Edmund kept him honest but will make do with a 4th rd, a big cheque, and a prob top50 rank next week.

or maybe not top50 next wk,,Edmunds rank is worse than I thought.. it is 84..a few wks ago it was in the 60s.

On the Live Rankings he's currently 55, so should probably remain around that number. Delpo might overtake him.

Dan Evans is now provisionally 53 on the live rankings.

I did not see Djokovic match, how was his elbow? I read he had medical time out, however result does not look that he suffered .. His service still slower like usual or he is playing his usual "the best" tennis?

he definitely did NOT play his best -- not the kind we see when his opponents are at the level of the best of Andy, Rafa, Delpo, wawrinka, etc..

but well enough to win - his level , to my view, somewhat weakened towards the end - but STILL was just reflecting how great Nole really is - he could do with just the right timing for the right , critical points and then win it.

he didn't REALLY struggle - imo - just that it was still a little ''under" than his best, .

let's hope he;s gonna be better and feel better from this point on.

really interesting qf..stan the man vs tandil's grooviest tower.:-)2

and gurufils v pouille could be a classic..2 players on a hot streak looking to play attacking tennis. (hoping gurufils not hibernate in sliderman defensive mode)

not quite the death of tennis not having rafa n fedster in the mix is it ?.
