That yelling and screaming with come-on after every point did not help her, not with the crowd or the scoreboard, Vika falls behind 4-5
She will serve to stay in the set.

Krunic takes it. Some comeback in that set. And a collapse by Vika.

Vika can be her own worst enemy at times on a court.
She needs to calm down and focus on the match at hand

Vika is in for the fight of her life tonight. This chick will not go away. 6-4 3-2 for Krunic

Krunic has surprising power for such a small player and good placement...she is a sweetheart

I really like her. She hits the ball well, and I don't mind the "moonball" here and there to change the pace of the point. If she takes down "Hooty" tonight, this USOpen could be a great jumpstart to her career.

And Vika finally takes the set 6-4. Krunic will not go away though. Third set is no gimme for Vika

Who's talking about her winning this event? She has to get past this one and Maka to even meet Serena in SF. That's no guarantee on her current form :nono

I am very impressed by Krunic. I think she is lot smarter than Bencic and CiCi. Of course,
she is probably older than the other two.

Vika is slowly pulling away here in the 3rd set, she started it like the first set, up an early break.
