Well, I don't need any more convincing. Nadal is done I think. Anyone honest with themselves would have to agree. If Nadal ever comes back to win a Slam again, it will be a huge Cilician shock.

I don't think he is done...and I'm being honest. Yes, I am a Nadal fan but he is too talented to be done. I wouldn't be surprised if he wins one more slam. But he needs to work really hard this offseason to achieve that goal.

I think the biggest worry for Nadal if he plays badly is that this isn't clay, meaning he might not be able to break Fognini as often as he'd like. Why is that a worry? Because Nadal is getting broken way too routinely and he's having to rely on his own ability to break his opponent at least twice per set to compensate.

Will my personal stalker quote this post? Because yeah, the amount of times Nadal got broken is inexcusable and ultimately that's what cost him. Up two sets and a break... good grief. That is literally a new all time low for Nadal.

Wonder if Carol finds any posts humorous still.

Also, my good friend Front, if you want a shameful defeat, don't look at Mannarino vs Murray. Look at Rafael Nadal, mental giant, physical titan, bla bla bla...blowing a two set and one break lead...to Fabio Fognini...in a major.
