That’s a shame for FAA. I thought he was on an uptick. He can’t seem to get his game to click for the slams.

He has not fully recovered from his injury break and he is not an instinctual athelete.Just looking at his face when his preparing to serve sums up his thought process..#overthinking

I also think winning the other slams also took energy out of him as well, I am giving him a pass, he has done well this year, it was a shock of an early exit, in hindsight it may have been a blessing in disguise

Yeah a great boost for him. He can be an absolute BEAST at times. Wish he was more consistent. Nice and fast for an indoor court here. Proper tennis.

That clip I posted was from 2021 also, same year he made the QF here as you mentioned. His best year for sure and then his level plummeted. He knows what he's capable of so hopefully he can play better from now on. I do often wonder if his complete lack of emotion is a problem. Sloth like a la Del Potro moving around, always moping.
