A little of the former and a lot of the latter. Go out there and fight the fucking devil.
I figured. I thought of you last night watching Londero and Djokovic, when Novak had a bum shoulder. I don't like to be hateful, but I was hoping that Londero would take that shoulder (elbow?) to another set. B-)

Dumped Stan or the Kokk? I didn't know she was dating the Kokk, just some young fun
I thought they dated. Don't know who dumped whom, though, tbh. I'm not sure that's the point. Anyway...

Nadal will be well rested, as if he needs rest. I wonder why Kikkinakis even bothered to show up at the US Open. He should retire.

He does. Last year he got hurt by playing too many tough matches and couldn't finish the tournament. This is a bonus. He really didn't need to play 3 useless sets against Kokkinakis. More energy for later rounds.

He played a number of taxing matches. I thought the reason he pulled out last year was the knee, not fatigue.

But that's exactly what I mean...too much hard work on HCs hasn't been great for his knees. Don't you follow Darth's hating on people working Rafa's knees?

Verdasco enjoys playing 5 set matches. When was the last time this guy reached the quarterfinals of a slam? He is usually cooked by the time he reaches the 4th round. A true journeyman.

I do, and I also hope he can stay on court as long as possible. However, Nadal is a machine. Like I said earlier, his main problem is not fatigue, it is pain on the knee, otherwise he could easily play 4 five setters in a row.

He might be a machine, but he's not a young one anymore. Those days of wearing opponents down and outlasting them in a marathon are over. Have you not heard, his 5 set record is pretty lame the last few years.

I didn't say fatigue, I said the knees. Do you understand how tendinitis in the knees works? It's degenerative. If he plays less, he stresses the knees less. It's not about him getting tired, it's about if the knees hold out.

Cough drop already down an early break. As to Verdy, can't remember the last time he went deep in a slam. Maybe the USO earlier in this decade.

Is that true? I actually didn't realize that Rafa's 5-set record had gone down in the last few years. Do you mean 3/5, or 5th set record?

His wins in 5 set matches has fallen off.

They're at the tail end of that one...I hope ESPN will show it.

Typical Nando. He was up 5-2 in the decider and now it's 5-5
If only ESPN would show it, instead of an interview with Gauff, which I'd be perfectly happy to see later. And, yeah...what did you expect from Verdasco?
