Agreed. I'd just like to hear exactly what he said about them. Wording does matter. You say he said "slower" and "heavier". Maybe that's not exactly what he said. You misquoted Brown. If we're going to debate it, it's worth knowing exactly what he thinks about the difference.
My post about what he says is verbatim from the DVR. Again it's post #619 and #633 for those so inclined to read back over that thread.

My wish came true (but due to the scientific reasons in my top 10 post).
You are really a bad person who like to rub salt in the wound, but remember......what goes around comes around!

God, I hope not. When Roger next gets dumped out of a Major, and it will happen, I'd hope no one would be equally insensitive to GSM's and others' sadness and disappointment. Even Darth was a little shocked, and I didn't think anyone hated Rafa more than he does.

In fairness to @GameSetAndMath , he was also gloating about his prediction -- even if he obviously and explicitly roots against Nadal, and...

ok, he was being one big sadistic son of a gun.

P.S. No way in hell Darth was shocked.

Though even he called him a "cold bastad." GSM wasn't gloating over his prediction. He predicts Nadal to lose every tournament. He was gloating over the loss. As I said, even Darth found that cold. We're a community here, and no matter the amounts of street fights, I think we all know when some posters are going to be really a bit heartbroken. 15-13 in the fifth? How would you feel? I'm not saying that GSM is obligated to be a kinder human being that he's capable of. I'm just saying that he's a heartless putz. And childish, to boot.

GSM with prediction underlined with the list was really hilarious. I could not stop laughing last night.
The fact that he was right on in the end was also laughable. Only the Rafa fans would say that he was not funny.
About the gloating, yes, he did not needed to rub it in.

Lot of unfair accusations. I was partly (25%) gloating over the loss and mainly gloating over my accurate prediction (75%). I did not predict Rafa will lose to Milkman. I did not predict Rafa will lose to DYJr. In fact, when BS was littled worried about DYJr, I told him that there is no chance DYJr would beat Rafa. If you recall, I actually said that Kachanov is not good enough to do the job (but, I would of course be happy, even if any of the others did the honors).

Also, I don't predict Nadal to lose at every tournament (although that would be nice too if it happens).

I have already paid tributes to Rafa's play at this year's Wimbledon in multiple posts in the main thread. He has vastly improved. He might have lost. At least he did not lose to a player ranked 100 or below. Also, it is not like he was blown off the court in quick three sets. It was a five set match that almost could have gone either way. That's why I said Rafa should keep his head high (but not too high to bang on to door frames:D)

I've seen you commenting much more complimentarily on the main thread, and gave your comments a "like." I've agreed with you about how the Djokovic push-off to tomorrow was handled. But your heavy anticipation of Nadal losses is irritating, and your gloating when it happens is a dick-move. You seem almost to salivate more for a Nadal loss than even for a Federer win. It's a little gross. Try to rake it back as you will, but it's clear what blows your skirt up, and you have no feeling for the fans of others.

I am not going to respond now as you are all being overly sensitive. Come back to this thread after few days when you become rational and reread the posts; then may be, just may be, you will change your opinion.

"Gloating" which you copped to, doesn't need re-thinking. It's ugly and unkind.

The fact that Rata was upset before reaching the QF just is a continuation of the pattern started in 2012.
He loses to the same type of players, who adopt either big serves or serve/volleyers or in this current case with GM, someone who can do both.
I saw only the last set from 4 all and what impressed me how cool Müller was and how much he improved his net play.

I'll say it again: Rafa has nothing to be ashamed of, and his fans should be happy with the level he displayed. The simple truth is that he is no longer a great grass player, just a good one who is quite dangerous this year due to his overall level.

Anyhow, I'm glad Rafa lost for one reason and one reason only: 23-14, which used to be 23-10. I know Roger has had his number this year, but I'm still scarred and Rafa makes me pee myself just a tiny bit every time he steps on the opposite side of the court from Roger.

Dominic was upset by Tomas. He proved again that his best surface is clay, but on grass he is not even a top 10 player.

Yeah Berd winning yesterday was no upset. I thought he'd take it in 3 or 4.

From the ranking point of view it was, because Berd has dropped in the 14-20 range and Dom is now an established top 10.

Manacor's bull lose isn't a surprise for me even if he did better than the previous years, he hates grass and grass hates him...but Berdych who routined Dominator ?? I'm thrilled this time, I thought Dom would have played better

Dominic hasn't earned the title Dominator yet.

14-23 is better than 10-23, but it still isn't all that great. Plus...If the H2H is a big concern, it can't be improved if they don't play each other. I'm with you, though. I never expect Federer to beat Nadal and I'm always happy when ANYone beats him.
