We had three upsets everyday and just two yesterday.

To compensate we had four upsets today. What day? That too the upsets today are
quite big and the losers are considered to be good on grass in particular as well.

1. Defending Champ #2 Petra Kvitova taken out by #28 Jelana Jankovic.
2. #10 Kerber who had a good grass warm-up season taken out by #20 Garbine Muguruza.
3. #18 Sabine Liscki, former finalist and Ace record holder, taken out by # 15 Timea Bacsinszky.
4. 65th ranked Rybarikova take out by 122nd ranked qualifier Olga Govrotsova.

Yes, I would call Liscki's defeat an upset even though Timea's ranking is better.

#4 seems real inconsequential in the grand scheme of things...but an upset is an upset I guess.

petra's loss hurts the most

I know. In the third round. To Jankovic? Really? :cover
JJ has a knack for knocking out the defending champ in the 3R and not doing anything after that. Just ask Venus in 2006. :p

So, only two out of eight ladies who are supposed to reach the QF, actually managed to reach there. They are Serena and Dominatrix.

The quarterfinals are over. We had just one upset.

#15 Timea Bacsinszky taken out by #20 Garbine Maguruza (despite me rooting for Timea)

That's true: It's never over 'til it's over (but it's probably over ;)).
