no 8 Makarlova lost to Rybarikova.
The way Lisicki - 18 is playing, she may join the club.

I think Rybarikova will beat Makarova today .

Great call. Took her out in straights, 6-2 7-5
Makarova has not been playing good tennis since the end of the 2014 season. Hopefully she finds her game again and uses her lefty "powers" to the fullest.

Don't forget she made it to the SF of the AO this year.

I know, but how she lost at the AO was disappointing. I love her game but the fire is not always evident.

Today again, we met our usual quota of 3 upsets.

1. #10 E. Makarova beaten by M. Rybarikova in straight sets.by quali
2. #19 E. Svitolina taken out by C. Dellacqua in straight sets.
3. #25 Alize Cornet taken out by qualifier O. Govortsova in 3 sets.

Meanwhiel Y. Duan, the Genie bottler and J. Cepelova, the Simona Bouncer both promptly lost in the second round to unknown players (just like themselves).

I think Woz gets upset by Giorgi. The little Italian has a good grass game.

I think of the matches scheduled for tomorrow Mladenovic and Stephens could score the upset potentially both are playing well.

Giorgi has beaten her two out of three times they have played. I would be more surprised if Woz wins.

Caroline doesnt seem that interested in tennis anymore...I think too much money has gone to her head.

I don't think that's it. She had a tough ride last year and no one would begrudge her feeling unmotivated or uninspired right now. I still think she needs a new voice to listen to and really want her dad to step away and let the new coach do his job.

The thing with Woz is she went from being refreshingly aggressive back to defender tennis which was sad to see as it allowed he to take out a slew of top 10 players last year and take Serena to the brink.
