He's had very good results in Melbourne, and I debated the choice between the two. Another one no one has mentioned is that GGLopez beat Benoit Paire. That has to be an upset. GGL hasn't made much of an impression in a while.

Good question. I went to sleep a couple of hours ago assuming he had the match in hand only to wake up and see they are in a decider.

I first noticed Mackenzie when he was given a wildcard at some US tournament - maybe Indian Wells or Miami. I think he was ranked in the 300s. Not sure what his upside is, but he had a nice first round win against Elias Ymer (who seems stuck in the 100-150 range).
