Eight hours of watching that flew by. Beautiful and moving. We saw things never seen before, things that have always taken place in private, such as The Breaking of the Wand! Who’d have thought it. And it broke without sparks or a puff of smoke, and the royal chamberlain who broke it didn’t immediately vanish. Maybe next time.

The music and services were powerful, the choirs causing me to shiver. The long foot marches, the public reception, the precision and respect and grandeur of it all, the history - it was very impressive and worthy of her…

I’m in a very fragile state emotionally these days, so what we really got to me was the lone Scottish bagpiper at the chapel playing for her one last time. “Sleep Dearie Sleep” what a loving fitting gesture.

That was very moving. Everything was done so well. The cannon every minute, followed five seconds later by the church bells was a very momentous touch. I thought it was very moving when the hearse drove past the crowds and the silence and solemnity was momentarily broken by the cheering. She was very loved. Here in Ireland, everyone I know of watched it. She visited here in 2011 with Philip and contrary to expectations - even by the police, who blocked off O’Connell Street thinking protesters would ruin it - their reception wasn’t only very good, it was rapturous!

@britbox do you think the Truss-Kwarteng tax cut has rebuilt the red wall? Even those of us who benefit can’t understand the justification for this. Truly beggars belief. It feels inevitable that sterling will cross parity against the dollar and possibly even the euro.

As stupid as I thought Brexit was I never thought I could be vindicated as completely as this

On the face of it - it's utterly stupid from a traditional political angle. However...

The parity with the dollar and the Euro is a good spot, and might well be by design. They are bringing in Central Bank Digital Currencies, and the closer aligned the currencies are, it will be far easier in the long term for world trade, and to merge them together as an end point.

Note: These will be programmable currencies, and ultimately very similar to the social credit system they designed, trialled and rolled out in China - The Digital Yuan with facial recognition and mass tracking of everything across a surveilled SMART grid. The programmable aspect means they can restrict access to certain goods and services based on consumption and behaviour. They did a trial in the West (of a sort) with Bitcoin (That kind of money and transaction doesn't happen with a "virtually unknown mysterious inventor")

Initially, these currencies will work alongside cash (the new notes they are bringing out are polymer) Polymer is completely traceable.

Once everyone is in the digital system, they'll get rid of cash.

Expect most of the regular types of banks to collapse or close shop - they won't be necessary in this system. However, the general public will be the last to know - that's why all Western governments passed "Bail-in" laws since 2008.

I don't imagine we are far away at all from bank chaos.

It's part of UN Agenda 2030 and the WEF's Great Reset. These aren't theories, they are doctrines that virtually all states have agreed upon. It's a combination of Huxley and Orwell. Controlled destruction of the old to bring in the new. Order out of chaos. This is going to get worse before it gets better.

Most of the middle is wiped out and the rest are enslaved by a combination of Big Government meshed with Giant Corporations.

That's the plan - it's all traceable, signed off and legislated for. All the relevant docs are on Government websites.

This is starting to get embarrassing. We''ll have to look to the Italians to figure out how to have more stable government at this rate

The Conservative Party is finished with regard to it's core base. TCW (The Conservative Woman) is a good blog to follow to gauge feeling of the core support. They've rejected this party for some time.

Valid points made by Charles Walker.

So, there is a set of lobbying groups and organisations based at 55 Tufton Street. Truss and Kwarteng have been members of the groups there. The groups there have plans for growth and for tax cutting and it would seem that Truss and Kwarteng were highly influenced. It explains how the two of them could quickly decide to get their mini-budget out almost straight away without any plans on where they would find the money, and perhaps without any collaboration with the rest of the cabinet. They were hypnotised by people from these groups. Have a watch and a listen...

Free market capitalism eats itself mate. Once you break the social contract... it's like a business eugenics programme that can't sustain itself.

I'm sorry, but the Lettuce-Cam was hilarious. I think it was The Economist that said Truss's sell-by date was shorter than a head of lettuce. In the end, the lettuce won.
