Here are the new race rankings that will be released tomorrow. The title winners of this week,
Samurai and Black Heart, pushed out the Dog and the Fog. Murray is in position 12, behind
Cilic and needs to get his act together if he want to play in London this year.
1 Stanislas Wawrinka SUI 3535
2 Novak Djokovic SRB 3050
3 Roger Federer SUI 2920
4 Rafael Nadal ESP 2870
5 Tomas Berdych CZE 2135
6 Kei Nishikori JPN 1525
7 David Ferrer ESP 1440
8 Grigor Dimitrov BUL 1355
Aside the top 5, the other 3 spots are very volatile changing hands from one week to another. Thwe year is still young, lots of things could happen.
I do agree that the other three spots are very volatile and there is lot of tennis yet to
be played this year.. I am worried that Murray may not make it this year. My worry is not
based on the fact that Murray is not in the current top 8 of the race rankings. My worry is
primarily based on my prediction that he will be out of top 8 in regular rankings after
Wimbledon and if that happens that will seriously impair his ability to add points as his
draws will become lot tougher.
