I'm glad some of those posts from the LC thread were moved here.
@Front242, the reason I mentioned Roger's back was as a gentle reminder that more than a few Fed fans have questioned Rafa's injuries over the years, in part because he then (sometimes) seems to recover quickly. There was also a certain amount of back-and-forth between Fed fans and Novak fans during the USO, with some claiming that ND only retired because he was losing, while Roger lost because he was genuinely injured, even though he played the whole match. I really don't have a problem believing that Roger was suffering with his back during at least some of that Dimitrov match. And that with rest and the excellent care that he surely receives, was ready to play all of the tennis that he played this weekend. I also believe that top athletes play with a certain amount of pain, and that, particularly the ones with more frequent injuries, are wont to be cautious if they feel like something is amiss during a match. Some folks around here could do well to take things a bit more at face value, rather than assigning dastardly motives to players they don't like, while feeling perfectly assured that they favorite is only ever well-intended/genuinely ailing.
