OK, as it's an embed file - it actually sends a request to the external site hosting the content (in this case zippy) and gets a response back which it displays. I'm assuming the response back from zippy timed out on occasions in which case it doesn't display it... so likely to be the slow response from zippy on occasions where you aren't seeing it... but I haven't not been able to see it so far.

I can see it all now, just not last night. I'll give a listen, though BB seems to have nailed most of it.

Really nice Vietnam/Anti-war theme, RZ. I didn't get all of it, but I'll add to BB's list in BOLD:

1. Johnny Cash - SINGIN' IN VIETNAM TALKIN' BLUES
2. Gordon Lightfoot
3. Anne Murray
4. Eric Burdon and The Animals
5. John Farnham.
6. Stevie Nicks
7. NEIL YOUNG - IMAGINE
8. Dolly Parton - PEACE TRAIN
9. MASTERS OF WAR - (It's a cover of the Dylan song, but I have no idea who's singing)
10. Redgum
11. Roy Orbison - THERE WON'T BE MANY COMING HOME
12. BILLY JOEL - GOODNIGHT SAIGON
13. The Rascals
14. Joan Baez - SAIGON BRIDE

A Black folk singer who sounded every bit as good as Nina Simone (who I'm I also a big fan of).
In the mid 60's she would record an excellent album of Bob's songs. Initial "O".

BTW it's not really essential to get the songs titles on the quizzes I do, unless I say so.

Found this interesting fragment on the Lennon's appearing on Jerry Lewis yearly telethon. Lewis even joins in the jamming of 'Give Peace a Chance'. Great stuff !!!

It's not Nina Simone. Her first name initial starts with "O".

The aim was to cover a wide and varied selection from the various musical styles. There was so many to pick from and I regret not having a tune from Bruce, Pete Seeger or Bob Dylan. Maybe later...

Would have been just awesome if Lady Simone also recorded an whole album of Bobster music.

Elvis version of True Love Travels on a Gravel Road is quite delightful. This was the only time he ever sung the song live.

Great song this "Lonesome Town" by Bob Dylan, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from a 1986 concert. It's their tribute to Rick Nelson.

Bobster is a very complex singer/composer/musician that even his diehard fans has been unable to work out. I think that has been part of what made him so great for the most part anyway. Therefore you are not alone in that respect britbox. Last year for example he brought out an album entirely on Frank Sinatra songs completely surprising his fans who many would have not guessed that Old Blue Eyes was an influence. By years end , there was the 18 cd collection of vintage outtakes 'The Cutting Edge 1965-1966'.
Do you have an interest in Bruce Springsteen and his E-Street Band ?
