Roger could always play Boodles,if they are still going to hold that event due to COVID restrictions,he will at least get some more match play.

Thanks I thought under the present circumstances that might be the caseIt has been canceled.
Fritz who had knee surgery 8 days ago,3/4 hours of physcial therapy daily is paying off-he is back on the tennis court.BTW Taylor Fritz had minor surgery after tearing his meniscus on his right knee, the injury occurred in the 2nd rd at Roland Garros,he had to be put in a wheel chair and could not walk off court unaided. He hopes to be able to play Wimbledon.
Ok deal. Now all we need is someone to tell Fed he is playing doubles with Karatsev on Mallorca next week.Movement is probably just about ok for doubles I guess but hard to gauge anything from beating Paire when everyone beats him and he beats himself. Fit Federer with Karatsev would be a nice doubles team imo.
What? That's nuts. Is that wise after only 8 days?!Fritz who had knee surgery 8 days ago,3/4 hours of physcial therapy daily is paying off-he is back on the tennis court.
I was a bit surprised, though he posted it on Twitter about 1 hour ago,on the tennis court practicing. What? That's nuts. Is that wise after only 8 days?!
Estiendo... Yes it is a lot of UFEs but he is not match tough yet. Felix actually hit the ball deep and serves very well with his birthday twin. (both are born Aug 8th but 19 years apart). My question is how do you defeat Roger but cant win a set off Cough Drop in the final. (Felix is 0-16 in the finals.. that's horrible but just as Anacone said, Its better to be in a eight final than zero. Not exactly instilled with much hope for Wimbledon given he made 51 unforced errors in 2 matches but sport is unpredictable I guess. A wild card for grass practice would definitely be a good call alright.
Imagine Cilic probably didn't make 25 unforced errors! Yeah, cool that they have the same birthday. Cilic has a big serve when he's on and has consistently troubled Djokovic on grass and gave Federer a really tough time in the Wimbledon 2016 QF. Quite a long time ago I know but he seems back to a good level on grass so I'm not surprised he beat Felix in straight sets tbh.Estiendo... Yes it is a lot of UFEs but he is not match tough yet. Wow..that's concerning.. I wouldnt not expect Murray to win vs the young Italian Matteo.. He may be too much power for Andy to deal with but who knows if Andy's body recovers quickly he may have a chance to be competitive.I've heard the virus Delta variant was first detected in the United Kingdom, hope they are doing better now, otherwise....
Hope Murray beats Berrettini tomorrow and Korda to Nishi
I only saw some of it, too, but in fairness to FAA, and as I understand it was their first meeting, Felix did what he had to do, which was hold his nerve. He did play some great shots that I saw, to be fair to him. And according to Annacone, besides the UFEs, Roger's serve pct. was way down, on first and 2nd, so he wasn't finding his spots after the first set. They were wondering if he'd take a WC for next week, too.I didn’t see all of it, but based on what I did see, it looked more like Roger lost the match than FAA won it.
Norrie beat Karatsev today at Queens. I still like Karatsev for troubling at W, but I wouldn't dismiss Norrie, off-hand.The odds will be continuously changing based on recent events concerning the players (and also based on how much wager have already been placed on different players). Even if they created long ago, it will undergo changes everyday. But, they don't care about dropping players even when they know they are not playing (as it is unnecessary work for them and only a fool would bet on those players).
Surely, Opelka, Fritz and Isner could play a spoiler role. But, none of them will be able to win this. Talking of spoilers, you forgot our beloved Anderson (who was the cause of change in rules in Wimbledon).
I am not particularly impressed by Dan Evans and Norrie. But, I do think Karatsev has the potential to create some waves at this Wimbledon.
Oh, BTW, in Wimbledon JMDP with reconstructed knees (if he is healthy) would still be better than Stan (who has never done anything meaningful on grass).
What was the rule change? Plus I thought Anderson was toast.

He looks pretty good about 4weeks ..go search for his post surgical trainingNot really a fair contest. Stan is probably still in a wheelchair.
Feli will give Sharpo a grass court serving lesson..It's really an almost perfect service motion.. Sampras's serve was technically perfect.I see the veteran Feli Lopez is playing Shapo tomorrow at Queens. Deliciano has done well at Queens, plus it's 2 lefty one handers. That could be fun.
