Couldn't find any info on the current status of Ivo Karlovic aka Dr. Ivo. At 42, he's definitely nearing the end but Wimbledon would be the one place no one would like to play him. They should give him a WC over some donkey instead of making him qualify just to spice things up a bit.

Lol, nobody wants to play Dr Ivo period. It would be nice to see some kind of retirement gesture from the tour, eg wildcard at Wimbledon. Centrecourt playing Fed or something in the first round.

Djokovic playing doubles (!) not singles in Mallorca leading up to Wimbledon. No Nadal unfortunately.

Agreed it seems a good strategy. Lower intensity and more practice at the net + Mallorca is not a bad place to be.

The odds will be continuously changing based on recent events concerning the players (and also based on how much wager have already been placed on different players). Even if they created long ago, it will undergo changes everyday. But, they don't care about dropping players even when they know they are not playing (as it is unnecessary work for them and only a fool would bet on those players).

Surely, Opelka, Fritz and Isner could play a spoiler role. But, none of them will be able to win this. Talking of spoilers, you forgot our beloved Anderson (who was the cause of change in rules in Wimbledon).

I am not particularly impressed by Dan Evans and Norrie. But, I do think Karatsev has the potential to create some waves at this Wimbledon.

Oh, BTW, in Wimbledon JMDP with reconstructed knees (if he is healthy) would still be better than Stan (who has never done anything meaningful on grass).
What was the rule change? Plus I thought Anderson was toast.

A lot of one-handers seemed to feature this week. In Geneva, obviously the most famous one-hander went out early, but yesterday Cuevas took out Dimitrov, and today Shapo beat Cuevas, all one-handers. Too bad some of our favorite posters and members of the one-hand backhand cult are not around much lately, such as @britbox, though there was a recent @mrzz sighting. :)
I've watched very little tennis recently... but the one-hand backhand cult are still alive and kicking!

Fronty don't throw the dirt on ole Roag just yet.. He should contact Rafa and get a wild card for next week.
Not exactly instilled with much hope for Wimbledon given he made 51 unforced errors in 2 matches but sport is unpredictable I guess. A wild card for grass practice would definitely be a good call alright.

Movement is probably just about ok for doubles I guess but hard to gauge anything from beating Paire when everyone beats him and he beats himself. Fit Federer with Karatsev would be a nice doubles team imo.
