To me he hasn't the game for grass.,I think this surface is too complex in ways for Medvedev,to me he is till best suited to HC until he proves me wrong.
This I disagree with. Medvedev actually has a tricky and rather complex game. He's not a mere baseline. While @Front242 kept telling us that he'd improve at RG, he was right...and he did. I think transitioning his game to grass is also not that complex. He's tall, and has a pretty reliably big serve, which is half of the battle. He's not afraid of the net or mixing things up. Why not a grass game?

His footwork to start with on grass the match I recently watched, also his footwork on clay needs to improve and also on grass his transition to the net at times? as I said when he proves me wrong I am happy to say I was wrong

Being tall is a double edged sword in Wimbledon. While it helps you with booming serves, it makes it difficult for you to bend down for the low ball that is all too common in grass courts. Otherwise, Mark Philippousis would have been Wimbledon champ.

I already know how to ignore posters on this forum....
I suggest before interrupting my conversations with other posters actually read before jumping in and making a fool of yourself like you did when I answered a post from Front and asked another question,?then You went on to tell me how to follow this forum????????????????
I have been on this forum for many years btw.
I am Sick and Tired of your Condescending Attitude, especially on the WTA forum, you only returned because of Roger playing some tournaments this year.
If I want or need to address you on a topic on this forum I will,if not stop interjecting or answering questions I pose to other posters,.it is Rude for starters.

A reason why Rafa has had problems at Wimbledon since his chronic knee tendinitis. Getting low on the ball. I guess we'll see how it affects Roger, with his new knees, too. But Phillipoussis wasn't that much of an all-around player. I think Medvedev is, and he's got young knees. Margaret's point about his footwork, though, is well-taken. Maybe he'll find his feet on the grass, maybe he won't. He's in a final tomorrow in Mallorca. His first on grass.

This is a public forum. Anyone can respond to any of your posts. May be you know how to indulge in private conversations, but not when. Let me help you. It is perfectly alright to address a question to a specific member. However, if you want an answer only from one person and not from anyone else, that would be the time to use conversation feature of the forum as opposed to posing your question in the forum.

This has nothing to do with how many years you or me have been on this forum or whether Federer is playing or retired.

You may or may not like me answering your posts. That is your prerogative. However, if you don't like it, the onus is on you to ignore it (either by using the technical ignore feature or just by using common sense) rather than telling me to stop answering in a public forum to a public post.

I never claimed to be an administrator of this forum nor tried to control your behavior. Contrary to what you claim, it is you that is trying to tell me what i can or cannot do in this forum. When you are in a calmer mood, try to read/think about our conversation here and then hopefully you will realize that your position is ridiculous.

Do not condescend me telling me to calm down and tell me I am ridiculous .Again you have no right to tell anyone on this forum how they can post or lecture how to follow on this forum which you said to me earlier in a post? go back and read it? Who the hell do you think you are?get off my case and find someone else to harass on this forum. End Of Conversation with You!

Alex De Minaur d Lorenzo Sonego 46 64 76(5) to win the mens singles final at Eastbourne, his first ATP title on grass.
I was glad to see Medvedev win, and was rather more agnostic about the Eastbourne final, but I guess I'm more happy that Alex won it, as he has more upside.

I thought Alex would win, though to me is bases his game on Hewitt,at the moment he is young, though he has to do a lot of running, may catch up with him down the track,he really hasn't got a serious weapon.Med said 4 years ago his fav surface was grass would you believe,he goes into Wimbledon with confidence winning his first grass court tournament.
