Happy New Year, chief! Had a great Christmas, load of films and food and drink, time with family and friends. Not sure what to do on New Year's Eve.

What do others here do on New Years Eve? Throw a party? Go out? Stay in? Ignore it totally?

This year nothing much except order Indian takeaway and watch a movie or two 'cos my missus has to work the next day. Wouldn't go out anyway unless I was abroad to be honest. Great fun going out for New Year's abroad but not a mad fan of going out for it here.

I went to Cork for New Year's Eve once: Kilcrohan. Two pubs, I believe. Great time there. Locals were good crack and the sea was near. I think that place is the unwashed toe of Ireland. Next parish is Neptunes town...

Does anyone know what is the deal with the hats that the ball boys and girls wear at AO.
It is weird design and makes them look like birds when they run. Is it to give them

I did not watch the women's finals live. I don't like watching matches once I know
the result.

Tennnis channel said that they will show a rerun at 9 PM EST tonight. SO, I stayed
away from all sorts of news media including this forum just to make sure that I don't
know anything about what happened in the finals.

I switch on the TV at 9 p.m. Li Na was serving and the score is 6-3, 2-0.
What a bummer? uzzled

Come on tennis channel folks, please tell your program timings correctly
and don't screw people like me.

Tommorrow men's final rerun is supposed to be at 9 p.m. again. If you mess it
up, I am going to report you to the cops.

Fed is blessed with 12 ATP tournaments, most of which no body cares about,
except may be Rotterdam and Dubai.

In contrast there are only 2 events in the entire month of March.

Marseille is often a good 250. 4 top 10 players this year: Berd, Stan, Gasquet, and Tsonga, assuming Stan will play then. Only DelPo of Rotterdam's top 10 players is missing.
