It's sad to see iconic brands swallowed up. I remember in the UK when Kraft foods bought Cadburys (chocolate)... load of rubbish about keeping jobs locally and they moved them away the first chance they got.
Nokia already have move a lot of jobs abroad.
And I remember the big fuss about moving the manufacturing of the most famous Finnish mustard brand, Turun sinappi (Turku Mustard), from Turku to Sweden (and now it's in Poland). A new mustard brand began to be manufactured in Turku, Auran sinappi (Aura Sinappi), named after the Aura river in Turku.
I might buy a Jolla phone in the future unless they were quite expensive. Jolla was founded by former Nokia employees, and now the only Finnish phone brand.
