All ok, good to see Nadal owning again too

he surprised me general nekro.

nole had his number on the hard courts in the best of 3 sets foremats. it was 11-5 before this last match.

and many of those were absolute beatdowns.


clay warrior held his nerve and focused on getting it done when the tiebreaker arrived. he locked in and dialed in and got it done.


this looks good for next year by the way: this means that he should do be able to dominate the red clay for another year.

he wont be showing up with a 7 month layoff in 2014.

I'm hoping to see a Rafa/Murray match before too long. I think it's been pushing 2 years since they last met.

i think the potential for 300-400 posts a day at the castle exists here. it will take about a year.

i can see it happening.


one has to believe. and of course one has to relish the challenge.

there was a time when the castle did 800-1000 posts a day at mtf.

nadal did 2 things well today:

1. return of serve

2. clean match. (just 7 unforced errors)


the big issue had been a very poor return of serve on the hard courts. well he changed that particular dynamic in the last 3 days at least.

and today he produced a clean match on top of that. very few errors.

my noble deed of the day:

I left the Hollywood Casino after a big seafood dinner and made a quick stop at walmart.

I needed to quickly pick up a few things like bread and stuff.

as I was leaving walmart, my eyes fell on a homeless man walking down the road.

I did not even give it a 2nd thought: I stopped the car at once.

I gave him some money, that loaf of bread, bottled water, and some fruits that I had picked up at walmart. I had picked up oranges and bananas and the like.

Sometimes, some people approach me outside of grocery stores and request for
money; they usually have some story to tell. I used to give before.

Later, I was told by friends that these people usually get money to support their
drug habits.

So, my philosophy is that it is better to give things in kind as opposed to money.
