Well done Owen. Thanks for your effort and any others who contributed in deliberation of the situation and sound resolution.

Just to underscore what you said:

Everyone is welcome to post in the Castle thread - all fans of tennis and it's players and anyone that just want to relax and enjoy the Castle. It has a theme for fun, which is outlined in the opening pages. We try to be respectful toward everyone's opinions, while we offer our own and have some fun.

There are people here from all over the world. Some have been regulars on other forum's Castles and so have a common history and may from time to time reminisce. Feel free to join in, or start any other conversation you like.

Just to be clear to everyone here this site was founded by, and is currently run by, Britbox, Moxie, and myself. We decide things together. So even if people are pissed off at something, don't single out Britbox as a target.

Things won't go back to the way they were because there were clearly issues. Some of which you raised yourself.

The thread has been pinned at the top, other than that there is freedom of choice for posters where they post.

Thanks sid. I had been told you wouldn't post here as it was previously due to over-moderation. Things have been relaxed now, so surprised you find it worse now your concerns have been addressed.

Anyway, the thread is here and if people choose to post or not then it's their own personal choice.

Clay Death, you were given a home to land on here, and a platform. Recent grievances have been addressed, even to the satisfaction of some of your friends. Few relationships glide along without the occasional bump in the road. I'm sorry that you keep feeling the need to pull away without discussion. We ARE available for discussion.

Ok, The Castle experiment here didn't work out.

Just a note though, it was a unanimous decision to reopen the thread and adopt lighter moderation after listening to feedback.

Anyway thanks for your contribution and good luck wherever you land. The same goes for anyone else who wishes to post elsewhere.
