hard to believe but in a few days time the castle will have around 10,000 views. still we can do a lot better. this is merely the beginning.

it will just take some time. maybe even a year before the critical ground speed is achieved for the take off.

I like the way andy is thinking:

By Tom Bartlett

MONTREAL (Reuters) - Andy Murray underlined his hunger for more grand slam silverware on Sunday when he said he would pass up the chance to be world number one if it meant he could taste more major success.

The 26-year-old will play his first match since being crowned Wimbledon champion when he lines up at the Rogers Cup Masters Series event this week in Montreal.

After spending some time away from the court following last month's triumph at the All England Club, and having reassessed his goals following a holiday in the Bahamas and a training block in Miami, Murray's desire to win the sport's main prizes runs deeper than ever.

"I sat down actually just few days ago and talked a little bit about that ... I want to try and win another grand slam," a refreshed and relaxed looking Murray told reporters.

"Every player would like to get to number one but I would rather win another a grand slam or two and not get to number one."

it should be interesting general gamesetandmath.

lets see how it all unfolds.

one thing is certain: I do not expect much from the clay warrior at the moment. and I am ok with it.

it will probably be the andy, del potro, and nole show here. one of them is going to pocket the title.

That is called V1. The speed a plane must take for the take off to be impossible to abort. Then we have V2 when the plane takes off.

I noticed Britbox is on Gold Coast of Australia. One of my brothers lives in Brisbane. I wonder if he's going to the tournament next year. It's a great tournament though only 250.

Definitely. Federer has committed to playing Brisbane. I was planning to go anyway, but that news rubber-stamped the deal.

Federer should know that Brisbane belongs to Andy Murray only. :p

But seriously, that's great that he's going to be there as well. How far is that tournament from where you live, say, if you were to drive there?

Also, how are you liking the Gold Coast? it looks so beautiful but I must admit, I am not a very big fan of Australian weather - it's just too hot for me. But I know some people thrive in it.

Loving the Gold Coast - miles of beaches but also a huge hinterland of green valleys, mountains and rainforests slightly inland, so everything is within easy reach. It's roasting in the Aussie summer, but the rest of the year is manageable with the weather.

Here's the tourism video of the GC:

It's not like this every day though...

Australia is the number 1 dream destination for most of those who have traveling on their minds.

it is probably the most beautiful country on earth.

Is this supposed to be a theoretical statement: genie pops out of the bottle, says you can either win a Slam or be No. 1, and Andy says he'd rather win a Slam? Or is this supposed to be a reference to the way he's going to handle his schedule which would prevent him from being No. 1 because he won't earn enough points?

I think if you lower the expectations you lower the pressure to some extent.

this way all the pressure is on the other guy.

andy can just relax and try to capture the next slam.

he does not want to saddle himself with too much pressure.

I can't believe you liked 28 Days Later too. You Brits are so alike when it comes to certain things. :p

I tell you why. I had a long fight with the forum owner Mark at MW not so long ago. He liked it so much that it was probably on top of his list as well. When I told him that I didn't like it because it had so many flaws to overlook, it did not sit well with him. I even posted a couple of reviews by a couple of critics but anyway, you know, to each his/her own. We have come a long way since then. It's all now water under bridge. I personally find it very hard to get past a movie if the main plot comes with too big a hole.

I've highlighted the ones I liked. I did not like The Shining - mainly because I did not find it scary enough. As to the LOTR, the only one I have not seen is the Two Towers and that tops your list. lolol. I was told it was one battle after another after another after another, so that kind of took away my interest. I liked the first one the best.

Anyone has yet to mention Inception. Personally I didn't dig it as much but I know it became very popular within a very short time.

Go on then - I'm intrigued... What are the big flaws in 28 Days later?

My own guess would be not enough remnants of carnage in the city and the motorways when they head up North. I think the motorways would in reality be a road of unpassable molten metal. Another might be how long the infected survive without food.

I am not saying that the movie is bad but objecting to the fact that, it's not all that good either. For one, it reminds you of other movies, like the Night of the Living Dead. And also people say it's 'Dawn of the dead" sort of meets "12 monkeys" etc. So in other words, it's not very original.

Here's one review that talks about the 'gaps' in this film:

"This movie has a lot of gaps in it. I wonder why monkeys and people were infected by this virus but not other animals? All the other animals seem fine. Is that supposed to be a metaphor that the Earth is better off without us? I am confused since many animals share a lot of the same genes that this infection would only infect primates. Why were scientists even making a "rage" virus? Is it a metaphor that activists that are supposed to be good in this film, yet bring about its destruction? Was another idea that Selene didn't trust others, but when she did, she suffered for her trust? It was sad to see her strong character change into a whiny mouse, having to have Jim save her. It just seemed so stereotyped for that to happen. I wanted to see Selene fight!

I was unsure if only the UK was infected, but I am positive I heard Selene say something about New York and Paris being infected before the TV stations stopped airing. Then I read on some reviews that only the UK had the virus. I am also confused with the idea all of the UK is infected, yet England and Scotland have the highlands and many other far out areas, so it makes the idea of an all consuming plague hard to imagine...but it could move easily to the rest of Europe if one person that was infected got on a boat and sailed over, infecting people as they went. See that is my problem. Paris is much closer to London then, let's say, Wick, Scotland...yet Paris wasn't infected? Doesn't make any sense whatsoever."

Anyway, you've made yourself a couple of good points about this movie as well. All in all, it's probably not that bad but it does raise all sorts of questions after viewing. I like to see a tight plot. I've only seen it once and don't remember a lot of the details.

Lucky you! I just love the ocean but it's not too often that I get to see it. We do live by the lakes but there's no beach. Whatever we have, I wouldn't call it a beach.
