Okay, I am calling it a night now as I've been running around all day today so feeling very tired. Also, would like to read a book.

memo to baron britbox:

if I understand duchess dj`s request accurately, this is the castle image she wants at the opening page. the existing one does not have this fountain in front.

but we will double check with her.

tommy is just amazing. he does it again and continues his push into top 10. I think he is going to do it.

here is the draw again for citi open.

I will go with either tommy or del potro for the title. I have a feeling that isner is going to be worn out by the time he reaches the final.

Magnificent castle. It almost doesn't look real. How much of it is open to the public?

Actually, our pathetic government is restoring the castle for years, and I think that only about 25% is open to the public. Don't expect to see it inside entirely, most people don't even bother with the few open rooms and take pictures on the grounds.

This is another famous Castle in Romania, the Monarch's residence, Peles Castle. When i visited this in 2010, I saw it all except the last floor:

Don't know if you can visit it as well as then now.

Another incredible Romanian castle. At least you got to tour this one.

I'm going with JMDP. I think he wants to prove to himself (while also showing the field) he's still got it, as he winds his way to New York.

agreed. del potro looks ready for a title. he has the endless easy power off the ground and now he has the killer serve.

his return of serve continues to improve as well.

**Del Potro, Haas Set Washington Semi-final Showdown

**looks like del potro and berdych have Anderson`s number for now.

Top seed Juan Martin del Potro has booked a semi-final berth at the of the Citi Open in Washington, D.C., ousting seventh seed Kevin Anderson 7-6(0), 6-3 in one hour and 45 minutes.

The Argentine No. 7 kept his undefeated record against Anderson in tact, lifting his streak against the South African to 5-0. Del Potro didn't face a break point during the match, during which he won 82 per cent of first serve points.

I just went back over the first page to see everyone's castles, again. What a fantastic collection! (I hadn't see Kieran's...why am I not surprised? Fantastic, though, silver-tongued Lord Kieran of the Verdant Isle. Of course your castle has a big mouth. :snigger)

For everyone catching up on this thread, go back to page 1 and see everyone's castles. And pick one for yourself, and you'll be added. Many great ones still available:

too good princess moxie the invincible one.

we are real estate brokers:

only we are very strange real estate brokers. we offer kind hearted warriors and warrior princesses a prime piece of real estate on the opening page that will last forever and ever.

it is their very own piece of prime real estate and nobody can ever take it away from them.

we have the coolest deal going.

^ Me, too, General. If I weren't committed to Segovia, I'd take this one. I love being by the water. And, whereas so many castles are nestled into mountains, this one is almost taken over by the sea. A rare gem!
