A nice result for Finnish sports half an hour ago. Matti Mattson won World Ch'ship bronze in 200m breaststroke swimming. It's been ten years sine the previous WC medal for Finnish swimmers.

Magnificent castle. It almost doesn't look real. How much of it is open to the public?

Actually, our pathetic government is restoring the castle for years, and I think that only about 25% is open to the public. Don't expect to see it inside entirely, most people don't even bother with the few open rooms and take pictures on the grounds.

This is another famous Castle in Romania, the Monarch's residence, Peles Castle. When i visited this in 2010, I saw it all except the last floor:

Don't know if you can visit it as well as then now.

Where will you be "exchanging" to, August?

I'm going to Germany. I've studied German since 2006 and want to improve my German skills. And seems like a good place to go also otherwise.

That's fantastic! I did my exchange tours in Spain and Italy. Have an absolutely gorgeous time. Maybe you can help me with my translations blog, in your 'spare time.'

I cant believe for the life of me what sid sees in that place. that place is not for him.

alex shit on him for a week. he even called sid`s player a 100 names.

babbs and monster have been insulting the hell out of him for years.

sid even sent me a pm there and said he was done with that place forever and ever a while back and yet he went right back. babbs and monster were tearing into him nonstop and he got angry. well who would not get angry?

bottom line: if they hurt you, insult you, attack you then you move on. life is too damn short to put up with that nonsense. you go where you cared for and respected.

herc darling, i think it's best to leave it alone. Siddy is very comfortable at T4U and Luggy too, despite the abuse Siddy gets from Babbs and Monster from time to time, but it still is his comfort zone. Reason why people stay in relationships despite being abused both mentally and physically on a regular basis. It's just such an unknown territory for them to be brave and accept the change. But for what its worth, both Luggy and Siddy have made the first move and have registered with this forum already. Let things happen naturally. If what we sell is good then I don't see why people won't be intrigued to join this forum. You only need to play your cards right and patience is a virtue. :)

emma do you know of any kind folks from that murray forum that we can invite here?

I mean this place is exceedingly murray friendly. they will like it here.

I know lots. At least 90% of the fans at MW are actually very good posters and they are more interested in talking tennis and stay on topic. They don't tend to get personal and are more patient and tolerant and accept different opinions even if they are vastly different than their own. However, I'd say at least a lot of them are strictly Murray fans. I have though no intention visiting that place again and would like to concentrate only on this forum. There's only so much time I can afford to spend online.

But I will give a shout out here to those I think make great general fans as well and they are, Gnome, Madhatter, Dex, Meckam, Laundry, Rob92, Elena, Katie, Sabin...lots actually and I am sure I am forgetting quite a few. Even Mark is welcome but he's the forum owner and got his hands full, but it will be great to see him here no doubt.

I have sort of started watching The Mexican (first time watching) and Julia Robers is reading this book called "Men Who Can't Love: How to Recognize a Commitmentphobic Man Before He Breaks Your Heart". lololol.

Come on, you men. Admit it.

You go first. My all time greats involve some really serious movies so I warn you in advance.

And Alex can't stop talking about me. He's so trying to get my attention. Loon.

he is a sick bastardo. most likely the sickest one I have ever seen.

also if you go to some of the threads at their chat section, some his posts about me are still there.

those posts should have been deleted. the sick bastardo himself should have been deleted from there forever.

all his trolling threads should have been deleted.

few imbeciles can destroy a forum if you let them and that is exactly what happened there.

That's not top 10, herc. That's like top 15. :p

Here's mine. Know that I am a very big fan of Sci-fi and thrillers, so they tend to dominate my list. And I've gone one step further and listed 20 of them. I am sure I am still missing quite a few. Like for instance, I like almost all the Hitchcock movies. I am not happy about my order though as I rushed a bit and didn't give it proper thoughts.

1. 2001: A Space Odyssey
2. Solaris (Russian)
3. Stalker (Russian)
4. Se7en
5. Memento
6. Silence of the Lambs
7. The Exorcist
8. Contact
9. Fight Club
10. Fallen
11. Shawshank Redemption
12. A Clockwork Orange
13. L.A. Confidential
14. Blade Runner
15. The Thing
16. Mulholland Drive
17. Kill Bill Vol. 2
18. Star Trek: The Motion Picture
19. Pulp Fiction
20. The Godfather (first)
