I have added your blog to my collection of sites to enjoy.
speaking of tennis at the Olympics, I just wonder where they will play next time. perhaps clay could be a possibility.
we have had grass and hard courts at the olympics. could it be time for clay?
i am checking it out now. it is one hell of a blog.

finally I made an account here. I was initially a bit reluctant to make yet another tennis forum account but then checked the front page of this site and read the "about" page. This place truly has a great idea; to have news section, blogs, and the forum. That's why I made an account to be able to give my contribution to this place.
Hoping all the best for this site and the people behind it,
August
Good to have you here August. I was only reading your own Blog the other day. If you're interested, we could look at integrating the tennis articles into our own blog section?

I think official sources have only spoken about HC but there's no confirmation. Maybe if Rio had plans to play the clay ATP event at the Olympic venue in the future, it would make sense to have clay already at the Olympics.
But Madrid 2020 could well be on clay as Caja Magica already has clay courts. But clay may be the surface with most withdrawals from the Olympics. HC is a good surface for Olympics, Athens and Beijing had DecoTurf to prep players for USO. Grass wasn't so bad either, Olympics were Fed's, Andy's, and Nole's and next event after Wimby and some guys went to Newport to prep for OG. And of course Wimbledon as venue made players more interested to play at the OG. But maybe some players would be a bit reluctant to play on clay between Wimby and USO.

I'd have nothing against my texts being published here if it's OK for you. That would probably make people find them more easier. On the other hand, I may be quite busy this autumn and not have too much time for writing. Let's look at that later this autumn when I know if I really have time for writing.

These are the voyagers of the Starship Enterprise. Its continuing mission is to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no one has gone before. " and is Baron Britbox our Captain James T. Kirk?
I very much seek to boldly go where no one has gone before! lol
Actually our true mission should be highly tolerant, non-judgmental, patient and allow freedom of speech. We should prefer quality over quantity etc. However we should not allow abuse of the system no matter what shape or form they come in.
