jim rome must be having a blast with that mark sanchez dude who is a qb with the jets. he ran into his own lineman`s rear and fell down last year.

I've not seen much tennis since the Wimbledon I must admit but I've kept myself up-to-date as far as the results are concerned. I've been very busy both on personal and professional level hence less amount of time being spent online. Maybe around Rogers Cup I'll be more on and also, definitely around USO as I've taken the 2nd week off.

I've read back a little bit since my last post and I do kind of agree with Nekro's take on things (forums). Sometimes, the forums feel like mental asylums open for all. I haven't been on T4U since my last visit but was there just last night to take a stock on things and sure enough, Alex is still talking about me and not in the most flattering way. And the mods remain the same. Alex tends to do this just to get my attention because he feels if he keeps talking about me then I will eventually show up, as I have done so many times in the past and most times, just to defend myself. And the endless clips of cheap videos just goes to show what he does all day in real life. Anyway, that forum is completely dead to me. It is dead anyways and has been dead since 2011.

The other forum (MW - Murray's World) is no different, unfortunately (why should it be, really given the typical human conditions and behaviour). While the forum owner does his best to moderate any situation that seems out of control, there's so much he can do alone, especially when there's a specific gang that can pretty much say anything and not break the rules and still manage to piss some people off. These are mostly women however, so in some twisted world, that kind of makes sense as to why they would get personal even when at least 90% of the time, it didn't concern them. And the tennis knowledge is absolutely lacking in some cases. Well, anyway, my main reason for being there was just to support Murray and that's what I've done so far. And now that Andy has won not only his first Slam but also, Wimbledon I actually have no reason to go back. And there's absolutely not doubt that a lot of the people are just pure back stabbers especially online. Perhaps in real life too who knows.

So far I've gone the Shakespearean way - Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none. But now I've gone all the way - X-Files way - TRUST NO ONE!!!

Nekro, monstertruck = Illosophopicall? You sure? They write differently. Illo was thalivest when he was at T4U.

Monstertruck is definitely not Illosophopicall. They have very different writing style but not only that, while Monstertruck seems to be a Sampras fan, he's also a fan of Federer. He doesn't have to say it. You can judge it from his posts thus far. Not only he's never been particularly mean to Federer (in the way he is to Nadal), he's also shown a certain biasness towards his fans. I can tell that he doesn't like and his fans and would be very quick to post a snide remark as he sees fit. And he only refers Nadal fans as the 'fangirls'. And the owner of the forum Scott is not 'too nice' as herc would refer him as; Scott is absolutely aware of everything but he only wants to take action if one of his people is on the line or himself. He once banned hunting for a week because hunting said something personal to him. It was very quick ban and happened within 5 minutes of that post. But when Shankar went against herc, it took him 5 days to ban him and that's because neither Shankar nor herc is his people. And of course, he'd never wanted to to ban Alex. He did it because he was forced. Alex is his people as you can tell; I am not because I don't kiss Scott's behind as Alex does. I pretty much say whatever I have in my mind as long as I don't mean to offend anyone. I am no saint but it be rare for me to get personal on someone simply because 1) I don't like her/him regardless; 2) I don't agree with him/her.

Personally, I'd like to follow my passions (tennis and quantum physics mainly) without associating myself with some online loons. Not only I learn nothing from them but also, it just takes away all the time I could have spent otherwise. I mean who wants to spend time arguing with a loon like Alex when I can actually a read a good book on QP and learn many things? Or watch a great match that I didn't get to see? I'd be a fool to choose the first one.

I cant really hate scott because he has always been nice to me but he stood by and did nothing on several occasions. not one but on a multitude of occasions.

he had no right to allow alex to attack me and you for 6 days nonstop. I am sure you remember the kind of stuff alex was saying to you.

he and dallas had no right to allow shanks to go after Feldman, me, and masterclass for so many days. again they just stood by.


so he has nobody to blame but himself and dallas. they stood by and did nothing.

and when he finally did ban alex, he gave him a 3 day ban.

and what a ban it was: alex was posting right through it all over the forum.

Hi herc, I've yet to run now as I have a meeting with my boss at 1:30pm. This is a clean place no doubt but at the same time I am sure all the forums started out as clean or at least promised to do so, but you see, it's not the forum itself that is bad but the people and as I've told you before, it only takes one rotten apple to ruin all others. And the other thing is, things can be done within the rules and there's not much you can do about it but it will prompt some people to leave. Not that I am suggesting people to leave if they are unable to develop a thick skin, I believe it has more to do with the fact that, it's not mandatory option for them to stay. They can very well choose to leave. I am here now but I can guarantee that things will remain the same. It all happens over the time just like relationships tend to deteriorate over time.

Well, I'll leave you now on that as too much wisdom this early in the day might not be good for you.

Hey Emma, those differences don't mean much, illosophical had like 4 accounts on tennis.com do you really think there are 2 overweight rap-listening sampras maniac afro guys on the same forum? in addition, when someone starts a new id ofc he changes his writing style, anyway, even if they're different guys, the monstertruck guy is full of crap, he pretends to support a huge racist and attacked the chat section for no reason at all, it's obvious the guy has no life.......

As for what you wrote about Scott's people, imo it's not true, do you think someone like Scott appreciates when some little peasant like monstertruck wants to seem " big" by calling him an idiot????? and herc not being one of his people? Scott made CD mod there and made a whole new section for him, it's just that he's busy and he can't support the forum, and everybody knows now he's not too involved in the whole forum thing, he even forgot how to maintain the site.....

Anyway, some people there got happy too soon, Orange Wombat, who's Freak3yman84's best friend btw was too eager to bury the Castle and CD with his pathetic village thread, and unfortunately for them, we can restart the Castle there anytime, ofc this is a nicer and cleaner place but there's a castle on most tennis forums and I spent some nice hours on t4u so i'm not gonna bash it now.... it's an American forum so let's compete, the Castle would tot destroy their village thread in a week so in case you want to rebuild just tell me and i make the new Castle volume there... now there are more mods too but in case Slasher for example is too busy trying to turn his projects into $ and we don't get support and trolls start disrupting the place again i'm gonna visit some threads there like mt's ego thread and make a mess there........

So don't worry for a sec people, the Castle has a bright future......

I think that place is just a graveyard general nekro. we gave it some life while we were there but that is about it.

they ran off their best posters over the years. and now its no different. they keep running off people there.

nobody respectable, reasonable, and objective wants to post there. and that is the absolute bottom line.

lugburz is kind of stuck there a little bit. he has spent years building his tommy haas thread there. so it is home to him.

but clearly as long as they have alex, fed fan, swish, babbs, and monster there, that place will continue to be a graveyard. scott does not care much and dallas is gutless.

orange wombat and freaky are just trolls. they don't count at all. we gave them a chance to be somebody but they failed to capitalize on the opportunities.

I really cant see what slasher and masterclass can accomplish there. these two are among the best I have ever seen.

that support now is even more nonexistent if that is possible. dallas was there the whole time and yet she did nothing. scott was in constant touch with babbs and monster. they also just stood by. they just let alex go wild there. all of them. they did not have the courage or the motivation. they got what they wanted. they wanted the castle and their chat section destroyed so they destroyed it. no forum anywhere on the planet would have allowed alex to ever post again with the way he went on attacking and insulting emma and me. he even attacked her on the basis of her skin color. not once but over and over again.



he also went after nadal and murray. nadal was called a monkey and a clown by him and swish. and murray was mctooth and so on. who would want to be associated with these lunatics and that forum general. its over. and they are done.

I refuse to be a part of that forum ever again. you will note that not only the owner and dallas refused to do a damn thing, vast majority of the posters there also did not have the balls to stand up. they never stood up against shanks either when he went on his rampage for 6 days. only people like masterclass and slasher had the courage to speak up for what is right and just. I am glad that general lugburz also stood up for what is right. he asked alex to stop at least 6-7 times if not more.

The thing is I know monstertruck well while I don't know illosophical at all but the monster I know wouldn't go and take on another alias. He's just not the troll kind. Been on T4Y since 2008 so I know all the old posters quite well and I know what they are about - more or less. I don't particularly have an issue with mosntertruck or T4Y in general. My main issue was with Alex. Anyway, it's entirely true that when Alex went on a crazy rampage neither Scott nor monstertruck nor Babbs said a thing about it. In fact, both Scott and monstertruck looked to be MIA for the entire session and Scott only showed up when he was 'told' a few thousand posts were deleted (that is by his own admission). So if Scott had been good to herc then he would have not let that happen on that Castle thread. After all, the madness went on for several days. What was hilarious was the aftermath. Somehow a couple of people were able to turn the whole event to the opposite direction and put the whole blame on herc for deleting threads. That was circus for me. Now, I wasn't even a regular at the Castle but knowing herc, monster, babbs, Alex all this long, one thing I was sure of that none of these posters liked the Castle. Alex particularly was hating it because I was becoming more of a regular at the Castle. While Scott did allow herc to have the Castle there as a separate section, monsters, babbs, Alex all hated it from the get go. After all, it was more active than the main section of the board. Scott just wanted to keep his forum running - one way or another. I am sure he has his benefits from this ongoing forum. If this wasn't the case, he would have called it quits a long time ago especially given how busy he says he is.

And I don't know about you guys but I've been on forums since 1998 (CNN and Sampras fanz initially and then moved on to World Crossing once CNN collapsed; after that, T4Y and late in 2011, MW), so I have a very long record for being on forums. I've seen characters all along. Nothing is new to me. I've never been a member of MTF though and that's simply because it never really suited my taste. I liked my time at MW half the time; the other half, I didn't enjoy at all. I think most posters being from one country kind of takes away a lot of the variety. I probably meant to stay there at first, donated even $50 just this year I think and that was a first but I didn't mind doing it. Personally I think Mark is doing a wonderful job and if people are willing to help him, then that's only a good sign. But anyway, ever since I left that place (during the 1st week of Wimbledon), I never once felt the need to go back. T4U was really fun from 2008 to almost 2011, but it all went downhill since then. Alex ruined a lot of it for me. CNN was really the best out there.
