Sharp slim LED 70 inch flat screen tele is now under $1800.

I need a 84 inch flat screen tele but may have to settle for a 70 inch one.

nancy Sinatra?

that must been 100 years ago emma.

anyway she had a nice voice.

I also like "these boots are made for walking".

Those are not from 100 years ago. What do you talk? well, actually I don't know how old they are. I meant to post those on the Music thread but then again, for some reason, I couldn't download the page. Those who liked In Dreams by Roy Orbison I meant to tell them that I picked up that song from this David Lynch's movie called Blue Velvet. The movie was quite dark but the scene in which it had this song was even darker and the song is so divine and yet, somehow it was so fitting.

I came to know about the song Bang Bang thru Kill Bill (Vol. 2 was really great while I found the first one a bit over the top). Not sure about Ain't No Sunshine however.

Here's a very haunting soundtrack from yet another favourite movie of mine - Dead Man - and it's by Neil Young. This movie should have also been in my top favourite list but I just forgot to mention. I've seen so many great movies that I just can't seem to remember all of them. What is life if you don't go through all these great artistic expressions of life, really. Thanks to these great people who make life so rich.

World #1's!

Today I take my leave of The Castle. My troops are massed on the banks of the Hudson, ready to destroy.

And I'll be resting from posting, until Master Ralph recaptures New Yawk or is carried away on his shield...

Have fun, dearest Kieran! Lady Emma wishes Master Ralph all the best however New Yawk is already taken. Enjoy nonetheless! :p

lets get this party started.

As usual, Andy to start on Wednesday. It's alright as long as it doesn't rain but when was the last time it hadn't rained in NY? Anyway.

That sounds awesome. I am still deciding as to what type of house to get - a townhouse or condo loft. Townhouse will let me get the big screen telly and of course, the big sound system, while a loft style condo will give me nice views plus a lot of security. It's a tough one and yet so excited!

Did you know the Biblical term "I am" really has a question mark after it: "I am? What am I?"

I find it fascination.

I would have loved a Sunday start and this makes sense too, no? They have rain and it will interfere their plan at some point. And I hate, hate, hate Monday final. It's so blah.

And why's Federer playing the night match when Nadal vs Harrison should have been the night match? I mean no disrespect to Federer but Nadal vs Harrison is bound to be much more interesting - not to mention the latter is a local too and would automatically generate more interest?

agreed.

They should have given the American the night match.

roger is probably going to steamroll his opponent anyway.

Ryan has a good serve. he could make it somewhat competitive.

Ryan also likes a stage like this one.

It was nice to see so many former #1's at this event. It was a shame that Sampras and Agassi weren't there - for an event staged in the US. I don't think Becker was there either.

Aww little Andy and Jamie in their Wimbledon t-shirts. I wonder if Judy and Will ever thought that both their sons would be Wimbledon champions.

she built a castle in the air and then spent her life building a foundation for it.

I am very happy for andy. he achieved his dream at Wimbledon.

and made his mom and his country proud.
