Hello everyone! I hope you are well.
I just posted my latest blog entry - my 2013 US Open and Draw Analysis.
It is a bit lengthy and far more detailed than my first glance projection posted here in the Castle just after the draw, so relax and have a drink nearby.
As with any predictions or projections of future events, there is obviously no certainty in any of this, or I would be a billionaire.
A time traveler, I am not. As I mention in my blog entry, it is quite difficult to determine who can win on a given day with human beings involved and in varying conditions, especially in a slam event over two weeks, before the event even begins, when there are many intangibles that may affect the outcome.
At the end of the day, I use my experience, reasoning, a bit of gut feeling, and as it is very difficult to avoid, even a bit of personal bias can creep into the most reasoned analyses. This is true whether one deals in pure statistics, facts, handicapping guides, or outright conjecture or anything in between. One will make decisions on which facts are important and which are not and which ones to use as part of forming one's overall opinions.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the read, despite your own personal player preferences. I expect that my choices won't agree with everyone or maybe even anyone.
Best of luck to all.
I just noticed the schedule is out for Monday, and the bottom half starts it off.
Respectfully,
masterclass
