que pasa princess emma.
I have been out on the road all day.
I am just now walking in the house.
it is slow here lady emma. it will take at least a year to get something going here.
locals don't really care much about us or the castle so it will take a while here.
that was betty`s complaint. she said she felt totally and completely ignored here. nikki is gone too.
here is the way I look at it: if people are willing to come into your place and chill with you a little bit, then it is our responsibility to welcome them, meet them, and greet them.
a simple post to say hello to somebody takes less than 2 seconds.
people hardly ever go back to places where nobody bothers to speak to them. and why the hell should they.
now baron britbox and I are trying to set a bit of an example here so we will see if others follow.
everybody simply must be interested in growing the whole forum otherwise it is not going to happen.
we have around 172 members. now that is not too shabby considering how young this forum is but clearly if we are to embark on sustained growth then every single has person has to buy into baron`s vision.
and every single person has to do their part. that is how you make it interesting and that is how you make it grow.
It will happen via a Top-Down system.
1. Build a site with rich content that people want to visit. - Blogs, News etc...
2. Develop the social media side to interact with people.
3. A percentage will end up filtering through to the discussion forums.
4. A percentage of (3) will be interested in the chat thread.
You only really need 25 users who actively want to engage in a chat thread to make it a busy and then you'll probably have double that number again, who would pop in less frequently.
I think the overall figures for (3) to make (4) self-sustainable would be around 400-450. Which probably won't be that far away (about 6 months is my guess). We delete spam bot signups immediately, so our user numbers might be not be massive on the forums but they are real accounts.
