LIKE I SAID in my other post just because its safe now does not mean its always going to be in NYC also I hope your right about Us open I want to see A 2020 us open where everyone is safe, so its not like I dont want to happen I would be with you if its 100% safe. second dont talk to me like I know why that states are better in US I dont live there so clearly would be right about that stuff. finally do you know every single person in NYC? NO so you can not say its 100% safe which is all I care about I like NYC and would like go where one day by the way. and your wrong about the Covid-19 bill gates is close to a vaccine its clear to everyone lol.
You don't know what goes on in the US? Then stop having an opinion about it. Sorry I missed it before...I always thought you were a troll, but I realize it's just that you're a teenager. All good. BTW, do come to NYC someday...you'll love it.

I'm not being salty. But there is no 100% safe. Not even outside of pandemic. Life is fraught with peril. If you feel like big cities are scary places, that's on you. But don't tell me that people here don't care about the rules. I live here and you don't. I've told you how seriously it is being taken here. You will believe what you want to, but don't tell me what it's like where I live, as if you know, thank you. I recognize that everyone has their own threshold of fear and anxiety in this pandemic. I respect that. Some of us feel that, with caution and good protocols, we can go out and work, and be safe, within the margin of error. Others feel it's not time. Everyone should have the right to choose, and without prejudice or judgement, but everyone just staying home forever until there's a vaccine is also not a very practical option. And believe me, when I'm not doing what I absolutely must do, we're still isolated here at home. We're in this for the long haul, but we do venture out.
I live in a big city its called Melbourne not really scared of big citys at All I love them, whats why I would love go to NYC one day at least wrong on that one, I did not know you live in NYC thats great living in a place where us open takes place every year. of course you know more than me about own city than me I dont live there like you said but I think would be better if you said most people follow the rules in NYC because theres NO way in hell that every single person you dont know going or have followed the rules, in fact we already know NYC people break the rules once in NYC thats how it got so bad in the first place that makes you think they not going to do it a second time . anyway I hope you are right and I'm wrong so people stay safe and die I also happy your stating safe as well always deep down liked you moxie.

Do come visit. You'd like us...we're fun! It's not like people don't break the rules here, but we do a pretty good job. Here is how we enforce it, Bronx-style:

I read that Dimitrov is still struggling for over a month with the virus, while Djokovic and the two other players , now have recovered.

I hope it goes well, too. I hope that the USTA and the rest are going to be organized and careful. Because you now what? If they're not, and they fuck it up? That's tennis done for the year. But more importantly, they're risking people's health and careers. Not just players, but coaches and physios and umpires and staff. I know some players (notably Djokovic) have complained about the strict protocols. But tennis players definitely fall in the category of "super-spreaders," given the peripatetic nature of the job, so, like my business, which is freelance and gig-work...they and we have to be the most careful and strict. If they can do it, it might work.

I've only watched a bit that he was playing at Mourataglou, but he wasn't doing well. He was actually sick from the virus. Of the rest that tested positive, we don't really have a report that they had symptoms. But one thing that is coming to be a known/unknown is the lingering and long-term effects. Particularly of lung damage. I do hope that Dimitrov recovers fully, but it's no surprise that he's not back to his best, yet.

We ARE really nice. Even though we talk like gangsters and swear a blue streak completely gratuitously. I'm sure you can't get to the crown of the Statue of Liberty right now. It was closed for a long time after 9/11, and I'm sure it's closed now, like almost everything else. To be honest, you can't really do anything that makes NYC worth visiting right now. The museums and galleries are closed, no theatre, no movies, no concerts, no dance performances. You can't go into a restaurant or bar, but rather cunningly, they've built out into the streets, with flower boxes and twinkly lights, so we're all sitting outside this summer, and it's rather festive. You CAN still eat great food. Or take the ferry to the beach, but that's about it. Otherwise, we're still locked down pretty hard. If Cincy/USO happens, we won't be able to go. We'll just watch it on TV like everyone else. I hope this let's you know how serious and cautious we are still being here in NYC. While we get up everyday and try to make the most of it, there is nothing remotely close to normal about life in NYC.

Christopher Clarey on Twitter,

Reigning USO champion Rafael Nadal has decided to stay on the USO entry list.If he withdraws, decision will come closer to the tournament.

BTW the the Madrid tournament is expected to announce on Tuesday it will have to cancel due to the rise in coronavirus cases in the region.

if madrid is cancelled it gives rome masters a chance to move back a week to take madrids place, then at least it won't be right before rg, which it is at the moment,

then we can see whats happens with the dreaded 'rona and tourneys closer to the time.

Looks like Novak Djokovic will play at the USO,he has signed on to play doubles at Cincinnati with countryman Filip Krajinovic.
That's curious. IIRC, at the USO, singles players won't be allowed to play doubles. Does the same not apply for "Cincy"? They are being played at the same venue, BJK TC, and I would have thought they'd respect the same rules, for distancing, schedules, etc.

However, if it stays one week before RG, then the players who play at USO have a better chance of acclimatizing to the surface. What I wonder is if Paris won't do what NY has, and hold the "Rome" event in Paris at Roland Garros, and keep it all in one controlled place?

I will have to check, though it appears for the Cinncy tournament players can play singles and doubles, seeing it is the first HC tournament back on the ATP,the officials are allowing it.I will post if there is any more news from the tournament.

Just went to the official website for Cincinnati tournament and they have doubles allocated for both the men and the women at the tournament.

With Kyrgios withdrawing of course Djokovic will play... he has never won a set against him so it’s a big break for Novak...
