Good game I thought.. United scored a couple of good goals and were superb defending it... apart from the bizarre own goal. Thought Liverpool might have got a late penalty but no real complaints about the result.

Yup, that's a good summary. United just conceded the middle of the pitch to Liverpool and said they couldn't do anything and they were right. I find it hard to understand how United are 2nd in the table but there it is

Jamie was stupid... but the Manc dick has a bigger case to answer IMO. Apparently, it was the third or fourth time he'd pulled alongside Carragher to goad him about the result.. The guy was filming Carragher on a mobile phone, looking sideways when driving on the motorway... his daughter was in the backseat. Carragher said he didn't see the daughter in the back. The fella sold his story to a tabloid for a few hundred quid and said he was "distressed".... his daughter had told him to stop his antics twice on that video... The fella is wanker. Jamie was stupid... hope he keeps his job as he's a good pundit.

Awesome result. Half way there. And both teams are going to be protecting their players for the next game. Hopefully that allows Spurs to sneak up on Liverpool in the league. 2nd place is still in play
