Hopefully. If Barca scores one, Roma are out. Ironically, Roma are struggling in the Serie A.

I wouldn't mind at all if there are no Spanish teams in the final. Time for the Spanish reign to end. It's getting boring. Come on Liverpool!

Real Madrid must be the happiest because Barcelona are out. I like Liverpool's chances now.

I agree. It's time for others to win.

We got a lucky break with that disallowed goal. Ref was crap all night but worked out well for us.

Roma... wow. Bye Bye Barca.

Ah well... Madrid got a last minute penalty. That was the right call, but can't understand why Buffon was sent off

Real Madrid dodged a bullet. Juve had the momentum, and they were very likely to go through if the match had gone to extra time.

Champions League Draw:

Liverpool v Roma
Bayern v Madrid

On paper, it looks a good draw for Liverpool... would have preferred the second leg at home...

Funnily enough though, I would have preferred Madrid over 2 legs... don't think they are playing that great and they play more expansive football then Roma... would open things up more for our attacking options.

You don't discuss World Cup? I think it is only 2 months away.

I've just been zoned into Champions League... because my team is still there...

World Cup doesn't seem to have been getting it's usual level of coverage in the media, although maybe that will change once the domestic seasons finish. Who do you fancy to win it?

I wasn't aware Liverpool went that far. Seems they prefer Champions League to Premier.

I think even the group stage is mystery for me considering I normally don't follow football that is not played by either Red Star or Serbia.

Last month I read that Russians are preparing special security in Kaliningrad (that's former Koenigsberg, once capital of Prussia). That town is troubled by drinking problem, criminals and prostitutes, many of which have hiv. However, on top of that, during the World Cup, they will have Serbian, Croatian and English football fans there at the same time besides Russian ones, so they say it may be interesting.

Liverpool aren't doing bad in the Premier League either this season, one point from second place and playing hugely entertaining football.

With the world cup, I think England hadn't sold anywhere near the number of tickets they usually do for World Cups on the continent. There's probably a lot of fans concerned about Russian hooligans. The English fans got slapped around a bit in France doing the Euros. Some would say, a bit of karma based on past tournaments.

Big day coming up in the Champions League. Liverpool/Roma in the first leg semi at Anfield. Early rise for me in Oz.

@Federberg - pretty lame FA Cup semi from Spurs... had you favourites to win that.

Salah should win the world footballer of the year award, regardless of whether he wins the Champions League or not. He has been phenomenal this season.

Just incredible man.

Liverpool looking good. 2-0 at the half.... after a good first 20 mins for Roma, it's been one way traffic.

Liverpool started slowly, but once they got physical with Roma, the Italian side began to struggle. Italians hate hard play and long balls. If Liverpool can continue pressing their holding midfielders, I see them scoring 2 more goals, and Liverpool will be virtually through to the finals.
