Hey Federberg, It was a terrible start tonight ( although first Juventus goal looked offside ? ) but our team is incredible, really fantastic fighting spirit never giving up a really strong performance, we dominated Juve for 80 mins not many teams have done that recently. I wanted an away goal or 2 and we got that, really wish the Wembley game was next week!

hi mate! Yup this one was a classic. In the end I was actually a bit disappointed we didn't get the win. Moura looks like he can play. Only a cameo but good signs

I think your boys will take Juve in the second leg. The English teams are looking good. Liverpool tore Porto to pieces to win the first leg 5-0 away from home. Nobody will be too happy seeing Liverpool drawn out next to them this year. Chelsea/Barca will be interesting.

I wouldn't mind Chelsea being knocked out, but there's a part of me that thinks the distraction of the CL will give both of our teams a better shot at top 4. I really believe the worm has turned and the premier league will become dominant in Europe over the next few years

Could be some mouth watering domestic clashes in the comp coming up... We've five teams still in and we can play in the quarters... I agree, Liverpool and Spurs are well positioned... so are City - they've got a deep squad and are also scoring for fun. I don't mind if Chelsea get knocked out either - or the Mancs (United)... I'd actually love to get the Mancs in a QF or SF... high risk/reward on the nerves but I'd think we'd take them.

You mean you'd prefer Spaniards to beat Brits & you're British? Well, I never. Whatever happened to patriotism?

Club tribalism tops everything I'm afraid. If you were a football fan I'm sure you would understand :) Look at Britbox with Man Utd!

Ha! You mean like I used to have to listen to arguments every time Castleford played Featherstone at rugby until Dad got fed up of watching & also you want the weaker team to win so your team gets a better chance of winning. I support Scotland, England or Ireland in World cups. Some people call me a traitor with me supporting Scotland or Ireland as well as England but I don't think I can really call myself a traitor as most of my ancestors are Scots/Irish although I was born, bred & brought up in England. I appear to fit in more in Scotland & have more Scottish tastes & would love to go back there to live at 1 point. I look & feel like a Highlander. I classify myself as British but if I had to choose which part of Britain I'm from I'd say Scotland. I even prefer the old Scottish unofficial national anthem to our national anthem. It really speaks to me as I really do see it as "home of my heart forever, Scotland!" :0) I understand.

Lol man... I nearly got trampled to death when United beat Bayern in the 99 European Cup Final. Me and a few others were rooting for the Germans pretty vocally in the pub... and when United scored twice at the end to win it, we got smothered by Mancs and a few beers spilled.

After that Spurs replay against Rochdale I can say categorically that VAR is shit and it's got to go. That was an absolute shocker.

I feel able to admit now though I'm probably going to get ribbed for it. Me & Dad used to watch football when I was a little girl. As we live near Leeds we were Leeds fans though most people living nearby either supported Man U because they were the best or Liverpool because they liked the song. I know Leeds are crap & don't win very often. I like the song too.

Are Arsenal really this bad or were City that good? Only just noticed they're now 10 points off 4th spot. They're cooked. Wenger surely has to go at the end of the season. I'm going to enjoy watching the Arsenal fan tv channel on youtube this evening.

PS, City's +62 goal difference is absolutely disgusting

I am not even an Arsenal fan and I am sick of Wenger. It appears he is the one who decides on his status, not his employers. He will leave when he wants to. In Italy, the fans would have hounded him to resignation. Arsenal looks pathetic. I read somewhere that City now needs 5 more wins to take the title.

I don't think Wenger will be in the hot seat with Arsenal next season. His "get out of jail" card was perennial qualification into the Champions League. He failed to deliver last season and he'll fail again this year.

City's win over Chelsea was good news for the other teams in the top 4. There is daylight between Spurs and Chelsea and for Liverpool, that gap is now 7 points.

yes it's starting to look better and better for Spurs and Liverpool, but I'm not fully comfortable yet. We still have to deal with a visit to the Bridge and City coming to us. If we beat Chelsea (which hasn't happened at the Bridge for over a decade) then I'll feel better. But once they get knocked out of the CL they'll probably go into overdrive as they have nothing else to focus on

Palace hanging on here and restricting United to a point would be cool.

I was gutted. I blame myself, when Palace scored their second goal I was celebrating and what sapping some Liverpool supporting mates. Far too soon...

Good game I thought.. United scored a couple of good goals and were superb defending it... apart from the bizarre own goal. Thought Liverpool might have got a late penalty but no real complaints about the result.
