The umpire was right on the last one, Novak was taken away a point on the first. Novak tends to get a bit unraveled by these things, it's an aspect of the game he could do some work on.

In fairness, it's a great response by him to finish the year strongly. We've seen players fade after disappointment at a slam, but he seems in a stern mood and I hope he keeps this up for a long time. Novak in this form is exhilarating to watch...
