This is a document from the Irish Civil Service Employee Assistance Service, a government agency created to help civil servants to deal with whatever issues affect them at work.

Essentially, it recommends that civil servants display their “ally-ship” with LGBTQFU++ “all year round, not just during pride month.”

Obviously if the LGBTQLOL+ nonsense is your actual problem in your work, then you have nobody left to assist you. It’s the sheer brainless acceptance of so much unintelligible jargon is only the beginning of the issue here:

they're pounding us with this. It's clear the idea is to normalise things so that in another 5 years we're expected to be browbeaten into accepting this as the norm. The problem for them is that they're inspiring a backlash against things we conceded as acceptable in the prior decade. And those of us who are forward thinking ask the simple question... if this all becomes ok, what's next? Under age you know what?? They're making us into cornered rats. We've no choice but to stop backing down. There are some things that will never be acceptable to the vast majority of us, even if New York liberals get comfortable with it...

Yeah it’s an exercise in forcing a monoculture on society through constant bombardment, propaganda and aggression. Very interesting to see its success too. People are just too terrified to resist, to not conform, to have to justify their resistance, to have to face the open allegation that they’re bigoted, when they know they’re not..

This is so deep. I hadn’t considered this. The bastards cheering from the sidelines will be able to quietly swerve away but those who’ve brutalised their own will be stuck with the consequences. In my view there’s a special place in hell for the enablers

What. The. F*($#?!
Because there’s Nazis in it. These are the idiots who see Nazis everywhere so now finally at least we have to give them credit for knowing that there were actual real Nazis in the world sometime..

I don’t have to tell you the chap is a Protestant.
The archbishop of York has suggested that opening words of the Lord’s Prayer, recited by Christians all over the world for 2,000 years, may be “problematic” because of their patriarchal association.

If I find a person wearing a badge with their pronouns on it to be offensive, would the police tell them off? This is what’s so wrong about that law - if a person feels offended, then the law says an offence has been committed, which is ridiculous. We used to have a similarly badly thought out blasphemy law in Ireland, which said that if you felt a joke or newspaper cartoon was blasphemous, then your feelings were all the proof that was needed.

We had a referendum to get rid of it. Of all the major religious groups, only the Islamic Cultural Centre were in favour of keeping it…

A very interesting review of two books on race, by my friend Inaya Folarin Iman:

Asking the right questions about race

The death of George Floyd in 2020 reignited and globalised the protest movement Black Lives Matter. It goes without saying that what happened was a terrible tragedy, but many in Britain, myself included, wondered why a police killing in Minneapolis, 4,000 miles away, would lead to my local bakery publishing a statement on its website.

why indeed? Why was there recently a black only theatre event in London? What good does that do? I don't get it? Do these people really think that activism like that will do anything for race relations?

On George Floyd, I was shocked to find out that exactly the same thing happened to a white man in the US in about 2016. I think that these race activists keep missing a trick. This thing should have been dealt with as a policing issue. They should be keeping their eye out for poor policing that harms whites, and driving their point with those. That's the way to get the majority to realise that the police need better training. But they don't do that. And I start to wonder is this really more about grift for the organisers rather than to make changes to benefit society?

Exactly.

As for the whole “defund the police” movement, that’s total BS. Estimates vary, but in the US there are somewhere between 600,000 and 800,000 police officers. We hear about and see video of the bad ones, but let’s face it: the percentage of bad ones is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of 1%. It makes me feel bad for the good ones, because their collective reputation is being pulled down by the tiniest percentage of truly bad ones.

This is the thing that makes me loathe Trump and his acolytes. We need serious candidates to clean things up. But we’ll have to wait until at least the next cycle

Yeah, who’d want to be a police officer in America? They seem to be totally unappreciated. As you say, there’s only about 800,000 of them, max. They get shot, killed, maimed and injured at a higher rate than any other demographic there. Generally I suspect the people who want to defund them are posh white liberals who rarely need the police, or race hustlers who want to see cities burn.

Criminals would be happy if the police were defunded too…

Even when they were talking all the Defund the Police nonsense, Al Sharpton was calling it out, saying that black neighbourhoods were the last place pushing for less policing. They want more! It's all the blue and pink hairs talking crap. And of course the coastal Dems and anarcho-socialists

Yeah it seems incredible looking at it from over here. Black people are responsible for over 50% of violent crime in America - and there’s people who want less policing in these areas? I bet nobody asks the people who are worst affected by crime..
