I'd actually say Fognini has more weapons than Dimitrov personally.

With a time bomb firmly planted in his brain....

LOL yup, that's the problem but to be honest Dimitrov is a headcase too. Loses matches to guys he should never lose to. In this case, however, Fognini is the far better clay courter and expected to win this match up imo. I'd personally rank Fognini as one of the top 3 in terms of how he moves around the court. Novak first then probably Murray for the ground he covers but he does get a bit gassed now and then. Fed and Nadal used to be world class in terms of movement but the half step lost in each case would imo make Fognini around number 3 in terms of movement. Not saying anything about his (in)ability to win matches or the inconsistency there but simply in terms of how he moves..he's very fluid around the court. Great court positioning and feel for where balls are going and fast on his feet too. If he was more consistent and less of a lunatic he could be lethal but as it is, he mostly does harm to himself. By losing often :p

That was a pretty sharp game from The Fog there.

Munch up that bruschetta, boy!

Dimitrov goes down in flames that third set. :dodgy:

This year, loses a match for every two that he wins.

Yeah, he's quite an underachiever but then again, so is Fognini. He's just better on clay.

Fed hitting backhand winners like this is Dubai. Wow. So far, he is playing much better than in MC, or even Madrid.

Got back in time for the tiebreak. I like Cuevas and thought this one might be competitive.

That overhead from Cuevas looked exactly like one of the pos Dimitrov hit earlier.

Ridiculous shot from Federer there.

This won't get it done! I think these draws are too tough and Roger has to play "lights out" just to get out of the first few rounds! It was worse in Madrid, but I see the same thing happening here in Rome; Fed won't get to the QF playing like this! :cover :eyepop :popcorn  :dodgy:

Doesn't appear to be playing badly to me. Cuevas is a very good player on clay. See his last great return of the drop shot, for example.

That dummy by Roger was cheeky. Waited for Cuevas to start running and then hit it the opposite direction.
