Wow...Roger wags the finger after the win. He must have really taken this one serious. Finger wag is only reserved for special occasions, as far as I can remember.

Djokovic is a great player, but in a way it would be worse for the resume, it just wouldn't be a pathetic loss. Losing to anyone but him with this tour is a pathetic loss unless it's Nadal on clay. Also, I never said losing a final is the same as losing a first round match. I've just said losing the final doesn't mean you're playing good tennis. The finalist this week went 4-1, finalist of a major went 6-1. Neither gets me hard...
Ofcourse Fed has to draw the previous tournament winner, most inform player on fast HC in his very first round even when he's the #1 seed. And ofcourse faker has to draw an opponent who has never won a set against him in 100 matches in his first round.
Roger got a lucky break to win the match. I expected the match to be more straightforward, given the surface, but nothing comes easy for Roger these days.

I'll take Roger's opponents over what's in the bottom half with Anderson, Sasha Z., & Tsitsipas! Those shorts showing off those spindly legs of Stefanos with the long hair's taking me back 40 years!
He must be very proud of beating a player who played 9 matches in last 10 days.

Sascha is a much easier semi than Delpo and Nole is only playing one of the other two. Neither QF opponent is anything special. Anyways they could both play C- tennis and make the finals.
Not sure what you have against the USOpen, but it's a bit too much. Weather is weather, and all Majors have their issues with that. They actually moved the plane patterns from flying over the Open...years ago. But, "shady dealings with the draw?" Put some tin foil in your hat, and get out the smelling salts while your at it.that HELL hole we call a major! Something always seems to go wrong going back to the 70's when a shot rang thru Forest Hills! It's such an embarrassment with the scheduling, weather, a problem with noise (airplanes among other things), shady dealings with the draw; I could go on!
