Nole was magnificent in all the matches in Shanghai. I watched all of them. I liked Shanghai Nolefam who had more Serbian flags than in SC matches in Serbia.

Seems Nole has found a way how to beat opponents quickly without losing too much energy and spending too much time on court.
He looks unbeatable now.

I am looking forward to Nole's next appearance. I am not sure if it will be Vienna or Basel before Paris. Perhaps Vienna would suit him better because both his coaches live around there. In all times, they even had a tram line between Bratislava, where Vajda is from to Vienna.

I doubt he'll play anything more than Paris and YEC! He doesn't need to overwork himself like Murray did a couple years ago! He just has to avoid getting upset early and the #1 ranking will fall into his lap for the foreseeable future! :yesyes: :p  :ptennis:

I am under impression he is winning effortlessly, so I don't think he may overplay. However, considering that Nadal has never won Paris or atp final, Nole should just play those like you said.

Looking the level of the Tour I wouldn’t be surprised

Yeah the level of competition may not be so high but it looked like Djokovic didn't even need to get out of first gear and would've won over even stronger opponents.

disgusting vulturing from faker, he started where he left off in 2016 it seems, vulturing on fast HCs with Fed completely out of form. It's pathetic that next gen is so incompetent that they can't even stop this pusher on a fast HC.

Yes it’s all a “conspiracy” to rob Federer.

I find it funny that people think it's outrageous to suggest the tournament directors are not neutral (non-fans of a top player or certain style of play).

Regardless it is clear that play has been greatly slowed over the years especially at Wimbledon and USO. We all know who that has favored and who it has hurt. Wimbledon is a total joke, Roger would've done a hell of a lot better there, hes only won 2 of the last 9

Roger had his chance of "vulturing" last year, that wasn't disgusting??

I think you're wrong if you think he's just having a lark out there. If you don't think winning means a lot to him, you haven't been watching his pressers when he loses. No one wins 20 Majors by just showing up with a lovely game. #Nalbandian #Safin. Federer is anything but normal. He's a world class athlete, and that comes from competitiveness. Fed wouldn't have played Montreal last year or Rotterdam this year if he weren't competitive against his rivals, and aware of the race. And he's absolutely an opportunist. If he weren't, he'd never have won the one RG he has. And I mean that in the best way. Great players are opportunists.
Where did I day that winning doesn't mean a lot to him. You haven't read my post. You are making trite points here.

You are forever telling us how popular Roger is world-wide. I don't see how a tournament director, the most interested party where fandom is concerned and as it translates to money, would find any reason to undermine Federer. That doesn't make sense.

I'm never sure what all of this conversation about the pace of the courts is really about. It is a feature of them, but to what point? Federer fans seem to feel that Roger deserved a quicker overall court speed and has somehow been robbed. I thought Cincy was in the "fast" column. And just to point out, Canada is played in two alternating cities, not just Toronto.
We don't even have to bring Federer into this. The fact that 3 guys have won 50 of the 60 slams tells you that the variety in conditions pathetic. There is the sport of tennis. Not all of us are into it due to emotional attachment to an individual.

Not everyone likes Federer and there are plenty that prefer the other two. I don't think that even needs to be stated. We are talking about 2 majors with 2 people who decide over the surface composition and ball decisions. Let's just say if those Wimbledon and USO directors are Federer fans they are morons...

Because slowing down the conditions guarantees the big 3 will not be upset early specially dull and faker which translates to higher ticket sales as they'll be in the tournament longer. The tournament directors don't care about Federer as long as the ticket sales are good, that's why they are not even secretive about it anymore.

Tennis is a sellout sport, it's been this for a long time. When Fed was playing till around 05-06, it wasn't about rivalries but more about the tennis and to create exciting matches. Now it's about making money off of the big 3 and running these rivalry stories.

It's not about the quality of tennis itself so that's why tennis is a dead sport essentially.

You are beyond ridiculous. If someone is not good enough that is injustice???

Oh get off your high horse, Fed choked Wim 14 and USO 15 and got Mugray in Wim 15 rather than faker getting Mugray who he hasn't taken a set on grass. So quiet, fanboy
