Going 3 sets, Come on Jannik wake up, serve and ROS needs to be raised, remember you just defeated Meddy and won the Vienna tournament, I have to go to the dentist, check scores when I get back.

I watched part of the match between Zverev and Humbert and thought it might be a long one. What a battle! After watching the extended highlights, I was impressed by Humbert’s gutsy play. Zverev’s forehand held together surprisingly well throughout the match and his game at net has improved a good deal from a few years ago. Worth a look.

Also whoever wins this match has a early time slot tomorrow against Andy Murray's 'beastie' Alex De Minaur...UGH
And you foresaw it...Jannick has withdrawn rather than play that match, citing fatigue. Annacone did criticize the scheduling decisions of the tournament (and vaguely others) when he announced that.

The Crown Princes providing some good diva drama. Stephanos playing nearly error free, up the early break, pulls up lame, but the trainer fixes him up. Just now, serving for the set, Zverev finally gets his first break, and now we're back on serve, 5-4! Tsitsipas has come down off of Mt. Olympus in the UFE way. All very interesting and entertaining.

Pegasus defeated Sasha Zverev. He will be playing in the finals IMO

Thanks Moxie I am not surprised, also read that Daren Cahill was also not impressed with the scheduling decisions in Paris
Jannik has Finals in Turnin to play then DC for Italy, he can take some good rest. I hope ATP look at their insane scheduling in Paris, as they lost one of their top players.

Tsitsipas is the sixth player to qualify for Turin ( after his win over Zverev today, which was his first Top 10 win since the ATP finals in 2022, against Medvedev No 5)
Tsitsipas will play the ATP finals for the 5th straight year.

Sinner withdraws from Paris. Why would the organizers put the last guy on court up first the next day?? Their loss.
Been done before & it'll happen again! The USO is famous for their scheduling incompetence! Some poor guy comes off the court after midnite, only to be thrown to the wolves w/ a top seed at Noon! I wouldn't have even gone on court; just like Sinner! That'll teach them; NOT! :astonished-face: :fearful-face::yawningface:

Dude with the weird name is really standing his ground vs Novak's defense.. I predict THIS will prompt a bio break by Novak and may go 3sets.

Griekspoor had L-40 against the Dokovic serve, but took a while to finally break! He served it out 6-4! I'm sure Novak's quite relaxed now that Alcaraz blew it being upset 2 days ago! We'll see how the YE #1 falls out! Amazing how it'll come down to the YEC yet again! :astonished-face: :fearful-face:  :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

I always look down at my finger nails every time I read Tallon's Griekspoor's name :) he came back from 1-4 down, maybe Nole had an issue with his contact lenses:)

In their 2 previous meetings Griekspoor has never been in a TB with Novak, Novak wins 76(2)

Djokovic has the break in the 3rd. Will he ride it home? Tennis Channel (Goodall & Courier) going on and on about how something is definitely "off" with Djokovic, but I haven't been able to watch closely enough to see. Just a on "off" day? Rust and/or age?

To my own point, he was stretching out his leg, a bit. Now that he's given back the break, he's getting into it big time with the crowd.

He played almost 1300 matches on the tour. He is out there sometimes just to get the job done. Some days it's easy and other days not so, depending on many factors.

This is something that Alcaraz still has to learn, just to win ordinary matches with whatever game he can summon that day, even if only B or C game, but just find a way to win.
