Pegasus defeated FAA . I didn't see the match but I just saw the meeting at the net. Felix looks pissed off he lost. That's awesome he knows he has to continue to tweak parts of his game.

Well FAA was up 5-2, but still dropped that 2nd set! It wasn't like he was going anywhere! He had his win last wk.! That's all t/b expected! :face-with-head-bandage:

What is Novak wearing? he looks like a cherry, mixed with some unknown flavor, popsicle
Is Paris the 'squeakiest' court on tour?

Francisco Cerundolo gets a win against Casper Ruud 75 64 to reach the last 16
Ruud is out of the Race to Turin. where he was runner up in 2022
Casper, who was fighting for the #1 this time last year, will finish 2023 outside the top ten.

No rust on Novak. Scary good.

I've used that term before when Novak's just showed up to an event after a significant absence & dominated! I try to restrain myself since it would sound like fawning, but it's hard to find better! People can beat up the strength of the tour, but Djokovic still has to perform! That 2023 USO wasn't in question! The exhibition in the 3rd round against his countryman, Djere was never in question no matter the 2 set deficit! He breezed thru the rest of the draw including the final w/ a hot Medeved fresh off upset of Alcaraz! :fearful-face:  :face-with-head-bandage: :face-with-hand-over-mouth:

I thought he showed some rust early, before he got the break. Then I had to go out, so didn't see the rest, but the result didn't surprise. TC commentators said something interesting today: Novak has played 12 tournaments this year. He's playing little enough to stay fresh, at his age, but maintains his confidence and level well enough to keep winning.

I came in at the beginning of the 2nd set, and he was dialed in by then. I went back later to watch the first set - he was a little rusty. Only 12 tournaments; if he can pace himself to remain relevant and in the hunt, that’s good.
