What a weird idea you have about what works in tennis, or any notion that there is "proper," as opposed to "variety" in a game. Or what a "moonball" is.

Just caught the last game! Didn't see the whole thing! I only watched Nole's match; concerned initially looking rather ragged with UFE's flying off his racket! The forehand was non-existent where it looked like he was afraid to even hit it it got so bad in the middle of the 1st set! He came alive in the TB & it was lit'l more than a formality after that! I didn't watch much of Nadal's match, but the announcers were raving about how well he played & held serve so easily! WTF? He still had a close match IMO & Mannarino made him work! :whistle:

Novak was hoarse in the post match interview, not feeling good. He will not reach final.
Nadal not impressive, but despite the result, wasn’t a close match, Mannarino never had a real chance. If he raises his level, he’s the favorite!
