Isner has an excuse, he was in a hurry to go home, to see his second baby born a few days ago

Hopefully he’ll retire to spend more time with his family.

Another guy with an outside shot for London lost. Goffin ousted by Grisha.

One of the key matches for the qualification for London is the RBA vs. De Minaur match. Alex took the first set.
Roberto is right now 9th, he needs to win to keep his chance alive.

Realistically, it’s down to Zverev and Berrettini, right? I know technically others have a shot, but realistically it’s down to them, I believe.

True but Gael and RBA have still some chances if they go far. Monfils needs a SF and RBA a QF and to hope that at least Matteo loses today to Tsonga.

Don't forget that for the AO seeding, the ranking will still take in consideration the results from the first week of the season, respectively 3 events of 250.

Don't forget that next year most of those events will be replaced by the new team competition. I don't know how many points that ATP cup gives. Also, given that it is a team event, gaining points may not be under one's control.

But, they are not fighting for the same spot. They are the projected players to get the last two spots.

At this time, only three players are realistically in the running for the last two spots. They are Sasha, Matteo and La Monf.

Looks like Djokovic is playing to the level of his competition! He's not looking too sharp playing this LL, Moutet! He's down a break and has had a few ops to break back w/o success! UFE have been the story of the match on both sides of the court! This is one ugly match!

What a lackluster performance from Novak.
He looks like he wants home as soon as possible.
With this level he couldn’t beat Diego or Edmund next round.

Stan in it I guess after defeating Cilic in straight sets! Marin didn't look happy and just slapped Wawrinka's hand without a lot of cheer!
What happened? What did the polish peasant? Marin just disappointed?

Current situation on WTF spots.

Leaders: Sasha and Matteo

All other with non-zero chance: La Monf, The Man, D-Minor.

Man and Minor must win the tourney in order to make it. So, both of them cannot simultaneously cannot make.
Also, even if they win nothing is guaranteed.

If Gael loses before F, he stands no chance. If he reaches F, nothing is guaranteed either.

Mannarino (auto-corrects to "Mandarin") played some sharp tennis, great serving. Still, Rafa through in straights. Get's Stan next.

Tsonga takes the first 6-4 over K's boyfriend. Some fun tennis on display.
